A game company creating a game for people who like playing on their phones is similarly not an insult to people who like to play games on their PC/Console.

I’ve played a fair amount of D3 across PC/console since it’s relative releases on each. (played up to what it it now, season 15?, probably have ~ 3.5k hours in D3 or more)
it already has a virtual joystick implementation. ie. the laziest shittiest non-touch oriented game input there is. this is an asset flip/cash grab, nothing more.
weirdly one thing they didn’t appear to copy was D3's excellent sound design. from that trailer it would appear they left the sound to Netease’s Rather-Generic-Mobile-Game-Sound-Effects Department.

Everyone has their own launcher these days so I’m guessing this is delivered from their own CDN? if it was from Steam that would be about a 15 minute download.
That’s the issue with these NPCs, they exist solely for the player to interact with and nothing more.
