Destiny remains unpredictable and thrilling in the moment, and becomes increasingly predictable the farther you zoom out.

Have no problem with starting again on Destiny 2, have no problem with new classes or sub-classes, have no problem it being made for PC (along with some form of crossplay, and crossbuy ideally) but it absolutely must retain the feel of the current game. Destiny is unique in this respect and is the reason my fireteam…
the ‘leaks’ are coming from someone at Activision, not Bungie.
I keep getting FIFA not because I am convinced it’s the “best” football game in existence, but because it’s what my buddies know how to pick up and play when they pop over. Simple enough.
does anyone else think they should begin listing target resolution for these minimum/recommended specs? or do we just assume they imply 1080p
What was their light level at? the recommended 365 or had they cheesed their way up near 380?
during the Great Login Crisis of September 20th Destiny was No 1 on twitch. 30k people alone were watching Gothalion staring at his place in the queue for two hours.
they can even sherpa you up a mountain now!
I was hoping they could do that with the social spaces - have small areas demarcated for raid assembly. everyone that is in that area appears in a roster (shared across a number of social spaces) ordered by say light level/class or one that indicates smaller fireteams, and then a raid lead can then browse through and…
given you don’t get any of the subclass jump options and are instead left with basic-tower-jump this is somewhat irrelevant.
totally underwhelming from xbox once more. comparatively PS+ gave me Lords of the Fallen for free and (as a DarkSouls fan) i’m rather chuffed!
It’s actually very clever. Scriptkiddies will now try pointing LOIC at blizzard.tech rather than battle.net, and we will be free from ddos interruptions!
wooo.. im 1112h :)
cause then they’d have to put a proper sized/speed HDD in the machine.
it’s more important to know if they have shifted from using a SATAII controller as that’s the most limiting factor here.
I was lucky enough to see one of the early Dolby 1080p HDR prototype displays a few years back. I would rate that as possibly the most impressive display technology I’ve witnessed in all my life (i’ve worked in film vfx for near 20 years so it’s kinda a thing we deal with) - even without the increased resolution the…
to be fair it only needs to render one buffer at native 4k to be considered a 4k target capable device. eg. the HUD in games for instance. upscaling happens when you only ever produce lower resolution and need to filter or sample it to generate higher resolution.
they are both so freaking hideous!
in that case it would be the “Playstation 4096"
I hover around 70-80 fps at 3440x1440 - things pretty much maxed (except I think environment draw distance as this was greatly effecting fps, so have this slider 1 off maximum)
