I loved Ash vs Evil Dead & am bummed that iteration of the franchise with Kelly and Pablo does not seem to be getting any more spinoffs

The first movie really has a unique energy and ingenuity and sense of dread to it

Damn poor man’s Albert Finney has got some strong opinions

Oscar, Emmy and BAFTA award winning, future Dame Olivia has done nicely for herself.

Or when Sting met Sting

Honestly I’d genuinely wondered if they’d ever met.

I didn't say he can't act - nor did Cox, incidentally - but instead that he often just puts on makeup and lets that do the acting for him. While I agree that his makeup-free performances have been great, the more he piles on the less he acts, to the point where he can get downright late-period Bruce Willis at times.

I mean, he phoned it in on the multiple “Pirates” sequels, but there was nuance in his acting in Edward Scissorhands—-it wasn’t all makeup.

Oooooh.....

Is he wrong? Depp has had multiple roles where his performance is mostly makeup.

Did he pitch the word ‘meretricious’ to the Succession screenwriters or did you steal it off them, because I’m not sure I’d ever heard the word before this week and now it’s appeared twice, once from Brian Cox and once from onscreen brother James Cromwell.

I just wanna know his thoughts on the Super Troopers movies.

Good God, what an insult.  A word that sounds exactly like what it is defining.

Really, these aren’t really far off from popular opinion. It’s just especially awkward for him since he knows these people or will run into them at some point. These people will never speak to me.

“meretricious”

He’s going to start his own Whale Game to take down the Squid Game.

But we’re meant to believe that he’s going to end the Squid Game because he has anime hair and a determined look on his face?

Everyone loses to the Squid until a rando shows up and punches it. He goes bald after, hence why LeBron and his ever receeding hairline is offended.

I haven’t seen it yet so I just assumed the squid wins.
