How about Kim As Folk

I love that relationship! Jeff Bridges is phenomenal. He’s not bullying Alberto. That’s just his style of communication. We, as outsiders, aren’t meant to understand it (and should be put off by it). It’s only in hindsight that we realize what was truly being expressed and how beautiful it is.

Yeah ... I think the major difference between Yellowstone and shows like Blue Bloods and such is that Yellowstone seems to know that it is patently ridiculous ... and leans into that. Also - it is one of the most beautifully shot shows on TV.

Leaving aside how good or bad Goliath is, is it really the case that it’s a show “that your parents can’t stop recommending to you?” There’s a lot of dark stuff in that show in the last season.

Stephen Williams was X on the X-Files after deepthroat was whacked.

God Justified is just the absolute fucking best.

I wouldn’t say Yellowstone is mediocre. Mediocre shows like Blue Bloods are boring and it’s not boring. It’s pretty awful but it’s a fascinating kind of awful.

Apparently Wind River (Olsen, Renner) is part of a loose thematic trilogy to Hell or High Water and it’s also really really good. I happened to catch it on Pluto TV in the middle of it and had to watch it to the end.

Hell Or High Water is SO good.

I watched the first three episodes. It’s aggressively mediocre. Hell Or High Water is excellent though. If people are looking for good modern Westerns, then I recommend Longmire, Justified and Hap And Leonard.

I was expecting it to be good—-after all, the last time time Edi, Jody, Danny and Walton did something, we got Vice Principals.

So psyched. Even my super-Catholic mother, whom I thought would have a problem with a satirical show about Christians, laughed her ass off at The Righteous Gemstones. My only complaint is that the trailer needs more Walton Goggins (as do most things in life).

cannot fucking wait. eric andre is gonna push this one into the stratosphere.

Good Guy, Guy Fieri.

She plays wacky characters!

Ah yes, the notoriously tolerant United Kingdom:

“...I don’t understand why you Americans don’t seem to understand that homosexuality’s normal. Like I would love to see the day when we don’t need to be amazed at something natural.”

there are two* types of ‘who cares?/big whoop’ people:

Absolutely. I can actually speak to this myself - Seeing an article where an actor from a show I liked came out and described their feelings was what made me realise that I was asexual.
