The Texas black plates with white lettering are the best. Period. It almost makes me wish I lived in Texas.

You can go left on red in MA too if it is two one way roads intersecting.
It depends on where you are. In Boston, the streets were designed for horse and cart. There’s no grid and everything is one way. Newer cities are better with the grid layout.
MA drivers mostly know how to manage a single lane rotary reasonably well but multi-lane is where things fall apart. The idea that there might be someone to their right who is continuing around the rotary is 100% incomprehensible to them. Even if they are slightly behind the car to the right and have a clear view they…
Physical reflectors can get ripped up by plows. Upstate NY gets a ton of snow. In terms of reflective paint and recessed reflectors, it’s because many U.S. states do an absolutely dismal job of maintaining their roads. Our road (and subway) maintenance costs are completely out of line with reality for various reasons.…
I felt a bit odd about it at first but they are built pretty solidly. I’ve never noticed any lateral movement at all even with my truck on it. Have had to climb in and out of it while it was up and it was very solid.
Quickjacks are great and a major step up from a jack and jack stands. The only trouble is that they are super heavy and awkward to move around. For major projects they’re indispensable but I can’t bring myself to drag them out for an oil change. The next step up in this world are the Maxjax.
The quickjacks have a safety bar you lower into place once the car is in the air.
LIVIN’ IN A LEXUS DOWN BY THE RIVER!!
It’s as useless to pretend the homeless are the problem as it is to pretend they aren’t part of a worsening situation. Certain politicians have done well to adopt the rhetoric of not criminalizing homelessness but ultimately they offer no solutions to help the homeless and ignore the fact that they do bring problems…
I watch some flying stuff even though I am not a pilot myself. The FAA also watches YouTube. They will be on his ass big time.
I saw an article recently about how AWD wasn’t necessary for snow and that maybe if you can’t get the car moving you shouldn’t be moving anyway because you won’t be able to stop. I assume that the author has never lived on a steep hill.
BOAT - Bust Out Another Thousand.
Not applicable here due to the conditions and truck being used, but you always see people at the ramp desperately trying to drag their boat onto the trailer with the crank. Meanwhile, their truck is parked halfway up the ramp so the trailer is barely in the water. If they just backed up the boat would float right on…
Are we sure this isn’t just a scheme to incentivize drivers to own as many cars as possible that they can then park in one of the many Ilitch owned parking lots, though? Seems likely.
God, such a pain in the ass unless you have a lift though. Crawling around under there spraying a waxy/oily substance everywhere...no thanks.
Aftermarket rust proofing was a common topic of discussion at Fiat Chrysler, huh? Interesting. Innnnnteresting.
SO much cooler than the GTO. I recommended the same.
30 grand is plenty to get a decent Corvette. Not practical, but definitely way cooler than a Camaro or Mustang.
The Altima is the car for obnoxious assholes. I see almost no Maximas around anymore.
