This would involve doing something that would directly benefit taxpayers and damage an industry that is no doubt paying quite a bit in campaign contributions bribes to lawmakers. I wouldn’t hold your breath on it changing any time soon.

My C6 has nozzles on the wiper arms. I really like this. Of COURSE you’re going to be locked in to their wipers, because automotive industry, but I would opt for or retrofit this for sure, though.
C6 came out on top of a poll in a big auto facebook group on everyone’s favorite post C3 Vette. It’s hard to compete with the C1/C2/C3 but the C6 is definitely the apex of modern front engine Vettes. I will always love the C4, but it’s not the best. C5 has some good aspects and the pop up headlights, but it’s a blob.…
The fundamental corruption of our political system that has lead to an individual need to, “absorb the most excess capital” is bad. The greenhouse gasses these things emit, consuming an astonishing amount of diesel, is bad.
It’s not surprising that people are so revved up about this comment, but I tend to agree with it. Politics has become so insidious it’s almost impossible to escape, even for a second. It’s a miasma of negativity that does more to erode any sense of community left in this country than it does to address issues.
The republican party platform is very literally, “whatever the opposite of the democrats is”. There’s no governing ideology anymore. If the democrats became pro second amendment, republicans would be screaming for gun control. I remember 10 or 12 years ago when there was actually a very healthy amount of skepticism…
So contracting a shipyard to build a ship is representative of callous americans going around doing whatever stupid shit they want because they’re rich?
God, the comments section.
Because clickbait and polarization is how politics in the US operates now.
Obviously this is the correct analysis. Very obviously.

I don’t give a shit if someone doesn’t want to wear a seatbelt, their choice. Yes, yes downstream effects, insurance costs...it’s nothing I’m going to invite more regulation for.
I have been supportive of the ACLU, but this is a pretty significant ding in their reputation as far as I’m concerned. They should not be ghost writing articles, especially something as specific as this, in return for donations.
I love my gray cars and this is a nice gray. Two minor points, though...
The comments so far aren’t surprising but I am still amazed by them.

Yea, have definitely heard of them. I think I’ve ordered a couple things from them.
The transmission is the major question on a SxS that’s supposed to be “good for work”. The Kubota with the hydrostatic trans is the one you really want, but the transmission in my John Deere Gator is supposed to be the best of the belt-drive options. I’ve been plowing with and it’s been OK. I did a lot of looking…
Rust is the worst issue to deal with on a vehicle. I am fighting frame rust on my 13 FJ (with only 70k miles) and it is an absolute nightmare. I’m starting to get good at it but it is hard, dirty, unpleasent work. It also helps to have specialty tools like a needle gun, and a wallet that’s ready to spend serious money…
Always postpone your conniption until you have listened for the sound of the thing you dropped hitting the floor and looked in the area immediately under where you dropped it.
