I agree to a point. We certainly didn’t need the ability to get off and run around, climb ladders, or skitch. but the Revert was a great addition. The THPS3 trick set was perfect.

The ability to double-tap the trick buttons and transition between grinds or manuals without ollieing was another really welcome addition.

Thank you for taking the time to address the lack of analog controls with the Pro Controller and Sunshine. That was a big concern for me and the solution does not sound acceptable. I really enjoy Sunshine, but going to pass on this. The trip down memory lane isn’t worth the frustration I know it will bring.

Glad to see Spiritfarer getting some love. I gave the demo a whirl on Steam a couple months ago, have enjoyed some monumentally wonderful (and touching) newsletters from their team, and was thrilled to hear it would be included in Game Pass.

Was just playing it for a couple hours last night.

Glad to see so many others commenting about the appearance. I didn’t want to sound like a hater, but couldn’t help thinking it looked like a really good X360 game.

The trailer video showed 500gig Harddrive on the S along with only 2k visuals. There were other specs mentioned, but those were the two I knew to be different.

I’m really glad to see someone else mention 2X. Treyarch did a fantastic job of porting THPS2 to the original Xbox.

I see the VHS tapes as a nod to the early days of skater culture in the 80s for those of us old enough to have been skating back then. A lot of us had stacks of skate and surf VHS on our shelves. I’m sure plenty had DVDs of the same later on, but there was an underground aspect to it that THPS seems to preserve.

I’ve been clamoring for them to make an anime or even a graphic novel since 2004. I kickstarted Shenmue 3 the day of the infamous E3 unveiling. And I waited. And waited. And then played roughly 3 hours of Shenmue 3 before realizing the world had left the game behind. Sure, they had fixed many of the major QOL issues,

I’ll be gaming for — gasp — 41 years this Christmas. I don’t think it’s generational as much as it ‘s just people go through phases. I used to love intricate RTS games, sims, and to a lesser extent cRPGs. But nowadays?

You’re where I was a few years ago. All I needed was a PC and a 3DS. Then I got the Switch. The only thing that brought me back around to the Xbox was Game Pass, but even that has faded in appeal of late.

Man, does that “AAA gaming has passed me by” comment hit home. I just loaded up a few games I’d remote-installed via Game Pass on to my Xbone and uninstalled every one of them within 5 minutes each. All in favor of of ... Hearthstone Battlegrounds. And, probably, Fall Guys.

That LEGO Star Wars game looks like a lot of

Also had a demo of FFVIII! Incredible.

Or a pizza.

Same. There was something about SMB2 that also made it my favorite of the original NES Marios.

The very first game to pop into mind, and one Stephen mentioned in passing, was The Adventures of Bayou Billy.

30% isn’t nothing, but it’s what Amazon also takes from book sales prices $2.99 to $9.99, leaving the author/publisher with a 70% royalty.

BUT... books sold through a normal brick & mortar retailer must give said retailer a 50% wholesale discount in order to even get the item stocked (indie bookstores or Barnes &

Really cool story. Good for her. And good for the folks that might never have had a chance to Nintendo and e-chill with a woman they find really attractive.

By and large, the more expensive, prestige brands are all above industry average.
