Probably not, but that’s not a comment on the value of the employees, only where my priorities are at my current stage of life. I do, however, have no problem waiting for a game to be completed under a normal 40-hour work schedule.

Except, amazingly, when it comes to games. That $60 pricetag goes back to early 90s. And lets keep it that way. ;)
I’ve been hoping for a Herzog Zwei reprisal for years. Hey, Shenmue 3 happened, so anything is possible.
Crystal Warriors is the one I’d want. I’ve played it in emulation a bunch since the 80s, but as my first tactics game, it’s got a sweet spot in my heart.
I hope you enjoy it! I know there some great stuff in there, I just don’t have the patience to find it anymore. My loss, I know.
Sure. I tried the game out on XBGP last week. Absolutely loved the first 2 hours of it. Then the game opened up and the sheer volume of items and options was needlessly large. Take tonics for example. The game seemingly has dozens of them, all with slight differences, and, thanks to the b&w pencil sketch icons,…
Fair enough, though I honestly forgotten Ubi does that too, as I haven’t played one of their games in so many years.
I absolutely loved this game ... the first game I bought with my NES back in 1987.
My step-brother and I figured out a neat power-leveling trick way back then, that utilized the “turbo” button on the NES Advantage. There was a spot right near the beginning where enemies would continuously respawn. If you walked to the…
Absolutely loved the original Mafia. I just hope they don’t expand the map too big and pack it full of Rockstar-esque bloat.
I understand that the HUD is often one of the things last finalized in a game, and that early HUDs are often kind of ugly, but I want to see it. Or at least a disclaimer that it’s been turned off for video capture.
The Infinite vs Bio1 & 2 will largely depend on how much you want story vs action.
Lots of good tips, here. Thank you.
The more I played Tactics, the more I was reminded of a different turn-based strategy game: Mario + Rabbids: Battle Kingdom. One of my favorite things in that game was how you could bounce enemies around while using pipes and other characters to boost your movements. If you were skilled enough and the battle was set…
That winning image is fantastic. The Tomb Raider one is as well. Tough deciding between the two of those.
Activision hasn’t been about making “a little money” since the days of their founding. The reason for the videogame crash in 1983 was greed. Atari, Activision, and so many others were shoveling out crap games and charging $40-50 a pop for them, even in the early 80s.
To be fair, the anime parents could always have another daughter.
Yeah, that’s a Gen X thing, right there. I was 12 and loving every minute of my Mario level skipping skills.
Dr. Birx is older than me, a mere Gen X’er born in 75. But even in 1986 with the original NES, we were jumping onto the ceiling and finding the secret warp rooms and skipping ahead.
Despite GameStop’s outward messaging, internal documents provided to Kotaku by a current employee show that the company is less than prepared for this pandemic
How many years is it going to take before we can play the entire game?
