I’ve always found it amusing that Star Wars’ most ardent fans are the ones seemingly incapable or unwilling to embrace nuance. They fight over what is or is not canon, they insist on taking all the text at face value, and they absolutely seethe at anything that even slightly upends the simple narrative of black vs.

She is become gray. She stands between the candle and the star....

Quotations from entirely different series aside, what if they codify and canonize the term “Gray Jedi”? What if Filoni goes as far as introducing Gray Paladins?

But then... there could also be some misdirection happening here. “A Jedi Will Rise...”

What

Well, re: the Anakin being a master, to me all that the way Ahsoka/Anakin’s apprenticeship ended does is just make Mace Windu that much MORE of an asshole in ROTS.

One of my favorite things about the prequels is how it portrays how flawed and hidebound the institution of the Jedi is, and having Ahsoka leave the Order as she grows and recognizes those flaws in the spin-off show was an inspired decision.

So, anyone who wants to do good should just do good from the shadows and shut the fuck up about it. That’s the only way it can be “pure”, right?

Nice reference.

A sequel to “The Abyss”?

“Presumed dead”

So I guess we can no longer refer to them as “Schrodinger’s Billionaires?”

It was never going to end any other way.

I knew it was lost as soon as it failed to report back. I’m not joining some snarky types high-fiving one another for the demise of “rich kids” whose only crime was to have both a curiosity and the means to satisfy it.

There’s no good reason this story should have reached the heights it did.

Nothing makes me believe less in the possibility of intelligent extraterrestrial life than Republicans picking up the bit. Hell, I’m only 50/50 on intelligent terrestrial life these days because of those idiots.

Great, anything that keeps them occupied and prevents them from fucking up peoples lives when they mess with reproductive healthcare and such stuff.

I predict this will be as groundbreaking and world-changing as every time in the past that we were super going to know The Truth about aliens and the big government cover-up!

In the show, Ed was born in 1932 so he would have been around 62-64 in the timeline of season 3. Molly was 5 years younger than Ed, apparently. Ellen Wilson was born in 1943, so she would have been in her early 50s. I imagine if we jump ahead to 2003 like we saw in the close of the finale, that will mean Ed will have

A lot of (at times, justified) complaining and nitpicking in these comments. I watched the finale yesterday. I hate the Stevens boys as much as anyone, and I think it was a stupid move to bring back Molly and kill her five minutes later. However, I am still really enjoying this series. I look forward to the next

“Oh my God, you killed Karen”, and the Stevens boys still walk their respective planets. As ever, CogentComment, Alex and others have covered most of my reactions. I see some of you didn’t care whether Karen lived or died, but hers was one of the stories I wanted to see next season. I was looking forward to her being

A bunch of nitpicking:

Speech Therapy can definitely help, as can augmentative communication devices and other assistive technologies.
