Anti-abortion “rights”?  Isn’t that just... not having one?

I seriously hope they’ve learned their lesson from the sequels.

As I pointed out elsewhere, Star Trek is a great example as well.

I hated having to watch all of Star Trek: The Original Series before “The Motion Picture.” That franchise was doomed from the start.

And that’s it in a nutshell. It’s hard to pump myself up for watching a show where so many characters I rooted for have either died or heel-turned, leaving maybe just 1 or 2 people to root for. I’ll get to it.  Just not soon.

I love Mythic Quest, but the Always Sunny humor can be a bit grating sometimes. That said, MQ tones it down a *lot* and there are genuinely epic one-off episodes here and there. I’m bit turned off by how Poppi has evolved over the series.

Ha. Good point. I don’t think I *follow* 5 programs across all my services.

Absolutely.

Or just discuss it somewhere else.  I don’t go to a video game arcade to discuss cooking.

You pay $6 for one month and watch them all, then cancel. But that of course requires waiting till all episodes have been published first.

Because I’ll wait till all or most of the season is published first.

Like it or not, Tesla and SpaceX are considered successful because they have been successfully accomplishing tasks. Throw Starlink into that mix as well.

Silver lining, you’re protected from nuclear detonation.

#1. His dad is Jango Fett, or one of his many clones.

Most of your reply to Scott is chockful of opinion, not fact. “A 5/10?” To you, maybe, but you have an agenda so it suits your need to bias against the film to make your point.

Is it because the Predators were so ham-fistedly shoehorned in, or some other reason? Because we might consider them one of the “dozens of nasty apex predators with their own morphology and murder habits” that you mentioned.

That’s silly. The writer is not the site. The writer is the writer, and there are many on this site. If one NY Times writer covers the Mets and another the Yankees, they’re supposed to slant their articles only towards one team or the other?

I was lucky enough to do a little post-production work on Prey and it is such a gem.  Despite not seeing it in theaters, seeing it in HDR on an OLED screen with those inky blacks while they’re running around a forest at night is very immersive.  It’s one of the best Predator movies yet, imo.

Uh-huh. When many people are being dramatic their faces don’t appear emotionless.  Speaking words in a serious scene doesn’t mean “be emotionless.”

Having some drama or emotion behind the lines being spoken does not mean “quips every five minutes.” Ahsoka in Rebels was not a teenager yet they emoted her in-animation and her spoken lines had a lot more feeling behind them, despite not being all quippy.
