T-Mobile does this on phones that you purchase from them with all of the built-in T-Mobile bloatware. If you load a custom rom or bring your own phone, the T-Mobile wifi-calling feature does not work.

May not save on battery, but on older phones it does free up memory. On my iPhone 4s, if I don’t quit apps from time to time everything will lag like crazy. And I’m talking just email, Safari, iMessage, and camera. I am not running games or heavy duty apps.

Very low does not equal zero. Been there, bit of a rude shock.

Not sure if sarcasm or not...

IUDs are great when they work. But when you get pregnant with an IUD in place, that is a very rude awakening...

If they want to remove apps that are outdated or incompatible, they should at least have the decency to pop up a notification or an approval page. Something along the lines of “We have found that this/these applications can cause problems or are outdated. Would you like to remove them?”. This would be like taking your

I am currently running MalwareBytes Anti Malware on my laptop, it does a pretty good job. They even have a fairly new product, Anti Exploit. Supposedly it watches for the most common attack vectors such as buffer overflow or code injections. Does not focus on virus signatures, but instead plugs those holes.

I would

The crystal was just an earring (stud) that had sensors that allowed him to talk to her and her to see/hear everything around him. Jane lived in the ansible network, the faster than light internet that connected the various worlds. The earring was really just his connection to Jane, she handled everything else.

Reminds me of Jane in the later Ender’s Game books. Not as cool, but hopefully a start.

Remember, death is never final in comics, so there will always be a Rebirth.

a soft reboot, like when Convergence ended last year?

We need more stories like this where women get the support and care they need. The decision to have an abortion can be probably the most difficult one a family will ever have to make. Thank you for sharing this.

I see a lot of games that mark a disconnect as a loss. I don’t think the general population will have enough random reasons for disconnect like doorbell/phone call/baby puke to really hurt their standings. I would guess that a lot of players are not that competitive to where it would matter that much to them. As for

Anyone else going to point out that the original NES controller only had 2 buttons on the right side? A/B, not sure why they added the 2 black buttons above them.

Suicide Squad looks like a fun movie if they didn’t put all of the best parts into the trailer. Harley’s insanity shines, Boomerang seems to be a claustrophobic and crazy douche, Croc and Diablo look like fun, etc. The trailer was pretty awesome, partly for the choice of music - made me think of Deadpool.

I was very much on the fence about this movie (especially the new Joker) but after this trailer I think I can look past the Hot-Topic Joker and enjoy the rest of it. Snark? Check. Awesome use of music in a trailer? Double check. Cool effects shots for Black Alice and Katana? Check. Fun Harley Quinn insanity? SOLD!

He played the best villains. You hated his characters, but still liked him at the same time. He will be missed, one of the great ones.

My wife runs into that with some of her grandmother’s recipes. Those are maybe 100 years old, and use measurements like “butter the size of an egg” and stuff like that. Having to translate that to modern equivalent is sometimes fun.

That is what we have been trying to add in, the old hand-written recipes from her mom and grandmother. Takes a while to read the writing sometimes.

The original author (at least from the image my friend posted to FB) was @Esteyban. And yes, I math-checked my friend’s post...
