Typing in a bunch of recipes can be very time consuming, but I think it would be that way with any app. My wife is trying to digitize all of her recipes from various sources and we have decided to just enter in a few at a time so we don’t have to sit down and type for hours on end. If any app had a reliable OCR

The wife and I use Pepper Plate. The fact that it is completely free more than makes up for the somewhat more complicated nature at times. She uses the feature for creating a grocery list for certain recipes when getting ready for a big event like Thanksgiving and it makes it so much easier.

“So that’s it, is it?” said the Nutro-Matic when he had finished.

does this surprise anyone? Have to tie it in to the movie to keep people interested. And besides, ever since the new Cap was named there has been tension just waiting for another good CW. Maybe this time Iron Man will get assassinated...

Hmm, after the post on Friday about the small cell phone companies having much higher satisfaction rates (probably on ArsTechnica) and now this article, it is almost like I am being told to get off T-Mobile. Well, no time like the present.

I can see where the need for money comes in a little bit. Most sites that people frequent are no longer websites built by random kids for the heck of it. You posted this on a site that actually pays its writers money (at least I assume they do) and is part of a network of sister sites that cover a wide array of

I don’t know what the silver bullet answer here is. People want to browse sites for free, so sites rely on advertising for income. Malware makers use ads to push malware because they are everywhere on the web and hard to track down for the reasons outlined in the article. Adblockers help take away that attack vector

I will defend adblockers for 2 reasons. First, a lot of ads are used to push malware and spyware. Blocking them is a security function. Second, ads have gotten more intrusive and annoying, and waiting for 17 ads to load before I can view a page is annoying as crap.

I thought there would be a joke in the article about drink a cup of coffee, then go for a run and try to make it back before the “coffee poops” hit...

I figured this was cheaper than buying all the lives you needed...

Got tired of spending money to watch 3 channels and ignoring 200 or so. If they ever offer an a la carte option, I might sign back up.

As a Christian, I am getting tired of being lumped in with these overzealous extremists who get offended by every little thing. Please don’t judge all of us by the actions of these crazy few.

If ads had not gotten so pervasive and annoying, people might not use adblock so much. But to prevent loud, annoying ads that take up 60% of the screen, adblock is pretty much a necessity most of the time. And aside from the annoyance factor of ads, many times they are used to deliver malware, so adblockers are a

wouldn’t turning over patient records violate HIPAA?

thank you for these websites, I will be doing some research on them.

It just seems odd to me that some of the plans I am seeing on the Healthcare.gov portal would be cheaper and still offer comparable coverage since supposedly my employer is paying for part of the plan. I guess I will wait and see what the actual increase/final cost will be, then go comparison shopping.

According to the email we received from HR, that increase is the out-of-pocket premium that employees will be paying. I guess the employee-only portion is less than the 9.5%, but it still seems like a larger increase than expected.

My employer-provided plans will be having a premium increase of between 77 and 113 percent for next year, that seems incredibly high and makes all of us wonder if there is something shady going on. Is there any way I can find information from the company to verify that the plans are “affordable” as defined by ACA? Or

Is there any future plan to open this up to other phones? I would like to test it on my OnePlus One. Anything that will shake up the current phone carriers is a plus to me.
