Am I the only one that takes most “celebrity” endorsements as evidence of a poor product? If the product was good, it would not need to be shilled by someone who is only mildly famous for no real discernible reason. I am not talking about commercials, I am meaning stuff like this or any Kardashian (I still can’t

Annoying, my phone apparently auto-downloaded the app, eating up over 900MB of storage. Being a 4S, it only has 5.34 GB of storage space anyway, so that update was taking up nearly 1/5 of my space, without me telling it to download. Just something to look out for if you are suddenly low on space...

So, this helps on the first shot. How many people only pull the trigger one time?

I may have to edit it a little and change the default 4 corners, but aside from that...

Funny, wasn’t there a plugin for Chrome and/or Firefox about 5 years ago where people could do this? And I think someone even made a version where the annotations could be shared out to other people.

Ok, so the DVD producers charge for the codecs. How can VLC get away with free software to play the same codecs? From what I have seen, the DVD player that is referenced in the article is not related to the Media Center component, it just seems to be software to play media, like VLC and other freeware programs.

Between this and the story of the ad-supported Solitaire game (that you can get ad-free for a fee), it seems like Micro$oft is trying to make up the lost revenue from giving away Windows 10 for “free”...

Opt-in would be better, but I don’t really see why this is such a big deal unless you have metered internet. It basically uses a bittorrent style distribution, which can make a difference if you are updating multiple machines in a local network (not business, for that you should be using WSUS or similar). If people

I agree, who cares how well Pacific Rim 2 does. If they want to make a 3rd Hellboy, look at how well the first 2 did and how much people are asking for #3. Everyone I know wants to see how they round it out and see if Hellboy causes the end of the world (I think they should do it just to screw with people).

crossing my fingers that this is another Clay Face fakeout...

Just to royally screw with people, the guy that played Yinsen needs to be the Mandarin. Make everyone mindtrip that the Mandarin helped create Iron Man.

Agreed, stop spending money with a company and they can no longer mistreat you. The big problem with that strategy comes when the company has a monopoly in a certain area, at that point your options are to move to a different area (for a different monopoly usually) or just do without that particular service. Cell

Ok, so no rate hike but they can introduce a new fee to be added to all account and call it the FCC fee. The cost will be passed along to the customers in one form or another, I think that any kind of penalty like this should come with a stipulation that the company must not institute any kind of new fees or rate

So now AT&T raises the rates on all their plans to pay this fee...

93 years old and was still acting pretty much right up to the end. This man was a badass for pretty much his entire life and will be missed.

Damn it Funko. Just when I thought I had beaten my collectible addiction, you come out with something like this. The Vault Boy, Deathclaw, Super Mutant and Feral Ghoul need a home at my house now...

It would be awesome if the US would finally go metric. I know that the first several years would be major headaches as everyone adjusts, but when almost the entire world is using the metric system and we are using something totally different, it causes all kinds of issues. Plus metric just makes a lot more sense with

Hot Lips Houlihan?

This reminds me of when Amazon edited or removed copies of e-books that users had purchased. People lost their noodles about the reach the company had for products that had already been paid for and received. Now, Microsoft has shown that they can not only remove products from your console, they can lock out the

As long as you are not using one of the versions of uTorrent that included the bitcoin mining software that slaved your system when idle, then I support this vote.
