I was really surprised by how much I'm loving this album, it's amazing and I have so many favorite songs already, and I also love the Dave Fridmann touch, in this case his not very famous "understated" touch, I think it serves Spoon very well.

I totally agree with you, I don't like when people do that, I remember when Transference was released it was "here's another flawless Spoon album" but now it's like "it wasn't that good compared to the one before that and the new one". Judging albums by their sequence in release is an annoying trend.
