Man, this game is so good. I’m glad it’s coming to Steam soon so more people can try it out.

I’ts available from the very start of the S demo.
Yeah, I guess I should clarify. Like you, I wouldn’t put anything past EA. But I thought the spectacular, high profile failure of Anthem might—might—finally get it through the skulls of EA management that they are doing lasting, possibly fatal damage to the reputation and morale of what was one of their most valuable…
Yeah, that’s why this line exists:
... Did you read ComradeSnarky’s comment?
ComradeSnarky literally said that Dragon Age: Inquisition helped cement their horrific and moronic management.
After reading in Jason’s story that the game was basically developed almost entirely in the last year, I am not at all surprised that it was bad at launch. What does surprise me is that EA/BioWare has been either unwilling or unable to truly overhaul the game in the six months since, given the magnitude of its…
Jason reported in his story that devs at BioWare were mortified when DA:I did well, because it validated management’s horrible approach to game development (basically, let a project stumble along aimlessly and then force the team to crunch for the entire final year and hope “BioWare magic” pulled things together at…
This article from PC gamer was lamenting how popular the term was in 2017
This. Disgusting harassment aside, what gets me is how many commenters are going to bat for competing DRM platforms.
Since others have already ably pointed out the many problems with this post and Kotaku’s coverage of these issues in general, a more general point: When Epic first launched its store and received criticism for its bare-bones features and what many (I believe accurately) perceived to be anti-consumer policies, I saw…
I love the undertone of moral panic in this post. Am I supposed to be outraged about adults spending money on dumb cartoon sex games?
In covering the Epic Games Store, Kotaku has written about how the consistent, perpetual rage over its mere existence
I ate so many downvotes everywhere for saying role lock would just cause a new meta after a few weeks...and here we are.
Chris, you may want to change the picture to the article. It's clearly a picture of Markelle Fultz.
So, seems like a good time to point to the many comments (mine included) last month that pointed out that 2-2-2 would just create its own boring meta, because that’s, like, how shit works.

So it’s fair to say that the horrendous reaction, the death threats etc. are a very bad thing and it sucks that the developers had to go through that. On the other hand, they were condescending dicks on their announcement of Epic store exclusivity and then did themselves few favors with their subsequent reactions.…
Yeah they definitely did not do themselves any favor with the way they announced it. Honnestly I think a big part of the toxicity comes from that, and then there’s those that are toxic because they are human trash. Still none of that excuses the threats and toxic behavior that’s for sure.
They were being dicks about it when announced. A simple none condescending announcement would of been nice.
You’re really brushing off the level of snark in their announcement, and failing to mention how they addressed concerns about availability of their game in different countries with currencies not accepted by Epic’s storefront with a “you’re not entitled to our game” bitchy and not at all joking response (which sort of…
