Okay, so everyone here is misunderstanding the situation, which is understandable because I also had to re-read the article to get it. He wasn’t in the position of a guaranteed win, just a good opportunity for one, and went to go for a throw but,

Still clearing my backlog and finally just got around to starting Transistor for the third time, but this time I’m going to stick with it. It’s been a good ride so far and I’m not going to let myself fall off after the first hour again.
Slight side note: Any Signal users who have feelings on whether it’s worth using compared to any of the other encrypted messaging apps?
I went from YUUSS to nooooo when I saw that Wreckfest was PS5 only.
I’ve long been at that tipping point of just throwing in the towel on the whole thing too, but I have such a big library of games and there are so many good deals to be had. My most recent one was an ambient sound resetting bug in Dark Souls III. There just doesn’t seem to be a fix for my hardware configuration and it…
For the first time in years I’m actually following through on my commitment to not buy anything new and just playing from my backlog of games. I have so many that I paid good money for and haven’t even touched! It’s been a really good decision so far and I just want to stick with it for as long as I can keep my eyes…
I’m constantly starting and stopping that game. It will forever be in my backlog and never really my “now” game.
“Damn them! What could those pesky Anti-Fascists possibly have against me? They oppose me at every turn!”
It’s just lawyers trying to justify a reason for their paychecks.
Well, you did it. You got me to softly sing it to myself at my desk.
That’s really good to hear, I was super into Dreams at the beginning and kept jumping back in at each major update but kept finding it difficult to locate the best creations I was interested in. That sort of dampened my own enthusiasm for creation because it felt like no one would ever play anything I made, no matter…
Am I crazy or did they used to have a “recently played” that was just a song list going to the hundreds of songs? It also didn’t seem tied to which platform I listened on. I would swear it used to be that way and they took it away one day and replaced it with the current system.
I really liked Banished until it seemed like after 30 hours or so all my villagers just drank stupid-juice or something. Any new homes I built would immediately be occupied by the oldest citizens, leaving none for the young people, causing the population to just plummet while I ran out of resources. This would happen…
Well dangit, I woke up all satisfied with my current SN30 Pro+ but now I’m all jealous of this revision.
They could really go either way on this. On one hand it’s weird to pull off and isn’t hurting anything, and on the other hand they sometimes patch things because screw your good time. However, if they cared about glitches and stuff they would’ve patched out stasis bounces.
Oh man, I was also about to buy the BinBoks when they sold out. Thanks to Wulff Den for talking them up on his channel, but potentially also leading to a run on their inventory.
I know someone will end up doing something good with this, but yeah, all of those examples were just so much worse than the originals.
There were so many times I very nearly bought it over the past year.
Finishing up Paper Mario: the Origami King and really looking forward to seeing what’s coming up since I’ve loved almost every minute. Then I’m weirdly excited about going back to get 100% of collectibles and hidden Toads and such.
They must’ve played Captain Toad: Dragon Ball Tracker by mistake.
