I’ve never had motion sickness other than from VR. I’ve experienced barrel rolls in planes, flips on trampolines, rollercoasters, and just about every other type of amusement park ride and not felt an ounce of motion sickness until my first few minutes of VR.
Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but can’t the danger from a kitchen appliance on an extension cord be mitigated by making sure you’re using one with the right gauge of wire?
The tunnel sequence as a whole was just a mess. I genuinely thought they were trying to build suspense about Tala’s doubling back meaning she’d run into Reva, but then it just... didn’t. And then they seemed to be building suspense about how Reva would catch up to Leia, but instead she somehow teleports past her to…
“But I believe it is absolutely frivolous to think that I would jump from this plane with the extra weight of a parachute, and I think that God will give me the extra time to slow down safely without it.”
There’s a thorough guide on Rock Paper Shotgun, but after two edits it’s still stopping me from posting an external link to the page.
Exactly, with the millions of possible configurations there are bound to be problems. I only had the option of PC or PS4 Pro and my PC is slightly more capable.
Wait, when did Jon leave Nintendo Life?!
Hot swappable batteries in wireless earbuds? Very cool.
Still selling “Super Early Bird” pledges on a crowdfunded pair of earbuds barely 3 months from when they expect to have them back from production? Not a good sign.
That picture makes me nervous. Scoot that thing back from the edge, says my anxiety.
At its heyday there was an endless thread site called somethingaweful (note the extra “e” in there) that caught bad spellers. It was just post after post of people whining about not understanding why the site was so popular if that was all that was there, etc. Yes I ended up there by spelling it incorrectly once.
This reminds me of some update during the development of The Witness where they went into how many hundreds of possible combinations of footfall sounds were possible depending on the context. It was important during a game where you spent the majority of your time walking around.
That’s really strange to hear and I’m glad I haven’t consciously run into it in the past year and a half that I’ve had the mouse. It could explain some unusual happenings for me in the future so it’s good information to have. I love the mouse too, and the DPI shift at the thumb is a really nice feature for FPS games.

And my 3 is still running like a champ! I can still finish a day with 20-50% battery depending on use. I’m planning on getting a 6 when this dies but I’ll really miss the front-facing stereo speakers and rear fingerprint sensor.

I played probably 20 hours of the MGS 2 demo over several months until I knew every inch of that ship. As a demo it accomplished their goal in the long term, as I didn’t buy that game or the next but I got into Metal Gear Solid enough to buy the 4th game when the PS3 released years later.
Good news! It IS a ton of fun.
He’s had serious roles and been well received in them, such as The Devil All The Time, but I think he’s still just best known for his action stuff.
Now I just want to play Yoku’s Island Express for the third time.
