I’m just having the problem of a ton of motion control drift so my imp is always slowly, or quickly, sliding toward one side of the screen even when I’m totally motionless. It’s not even consistent which direction! I love the game but it’s hard to build when that little guy’s sliding all over the damn place.
Thanks to everyone who replied! I finally got it to pop up but then it said it wasn’t available in my region, which prompted me to review my account settings. Apparently my account had weirdly defaulted my country to China when I set it up. Changing my country to the US fixed the glitch.
Is it though? Because when I click the link it’s telling me that Faeria is the free game this week. Unless I just live in a weird state or something?
Thanks for the warning, this was a very timely article. Still can’t believe this is something I should have to worry about though.
I am so ready for this. And I’m glad for any game that adds an “explore mode” where you can focus more on the environment instead of the survival aspect. I know it’s not how it’s “intended” to be played, but sometimes I’ll just find that more fun.
I looked back though the article to see if I missed it, but as usual it just wasn’t there. That drives me nuts every time. I shouldn’t have to do a Google search for the information that could just be in the article anyway. It just seems polite to your readers to give that to them.
You reminded me I own this game, thanks!
You know people will say it in the order of Series XBox. So SEriesXBOX isn’t the worst guess at an abbreviation. Is this going to be like the XBONE abbreviation thing where they say they seriously hadn’t considered it?
But I was just about to try it for the first time!
Honestly though, good on them for supporting this game for such a long time. I’ve enjoyed every expansion they’ve released and can’t believe they are still doing this.
My Shovel is ready.
Came here to say the same thing. That first music choice was so out of place tonally for the film.
Yes, that and remembering to actually have enough space to download said patch or game. I have been very disappointed upon powering up my system only to find that it hadn’t installed some huge, exciting new update because I didn’t have the space for it. If I had known it hours earlier I could’ve let it download while…
Gotta love when downloading and patching the game takes up all the time you had to actually play the game.
This initially looked so stupid but then won me over in a way that only Nintendo products can. I’m definitely picking it up right away since I’m woefully out of shape and would love any motivation to get even a little more activity in my life.
Woah, I didn’t hear about new course parts, that’s always exciting! But the auto-cancelling of matches is a big step up in acknowledging the bigger problem of lag.
I’m so pumped for this, but it’s kind of amazing it took this long.
I totally forgot about this! There was some early press when it was announced, and I intended to stay informed, but it fell off my radar. I’m really glad to hear it’s about as crazy and sloppy/fun as I hoped.
I’m so happy when someone plays Silent Hill 2. One of my all-time-favorites for sure. Follow it up with a viewing of the 1990 original Jacob’s Ladder and look for all the references.
