You need to just be logged in on the https://www.gog.com/#giveaway page he linked to. The game is still weirdly listed at full price on the game’s store page, so don’t go there. Just be logged in at that link and scroll down until you see the teal box just below the flash deals. It won’t appear if you aren’t logged in.

I agree that it doesn’t really feel like Gris at all. I kind of did a double take when I scrolled past it because I thought I saw it wrong.

Hawken was so good in alpha and beta, but I feel like they slowly ruined it as they tried to give in to community demands. It felt like it wasn’t compatible with the original vision they had for it.

I absolutely love this game, but somehow after 600+ hours I’m still missing a few items. So I guess that somewhat confirms your criticism. The update definitely makes the 0 boss cell run way easier and more enjoyable, so get back in there and give it a go!

I’m thinking that they’re intentionally suggesting the existence of 2 player by having Mario and Luigi standing next to each other by the giant “2" on the screen. That was my takeaway at least.
