I’m just gonna jump in here to throw my support behind Hollow Knight. It’s an absolutely amazing game. I’m 22 hours in and there’s a bunch I haven’t seen or done yet. My loose description is that it’s a combination of the best parts of Ori and the Blind Forest and Dark Souls.
This is the best thing I’ve ever seen.
Yeah, but Takumi still kicks ass.
“tempting track for targeting topiaries. Time will tell if he terminates all those troublesome trees.”
Only if the guy was an immigrant.
“with competitive players really succeeding at either strategy.” Really, or rarely?
“Driving him forward all the whole”
Should this be ““Me[sic] showed me what Marth can do.” or is it supposed to be “He showed me what Marth can do”?
“Leo has heart, and he’s got the drive to match,” he Javier.
The arts might make me see things from a new perspective that challenges my view of the world? God forbid.
Witcher 3, Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows, Stardew Valley, and Brigador. I find it best to be partway through games from a bunch of genres so that I have something to play regardless of how I’m feeling.
They should absolutely release it pre-Switch while people still have that perfect mix of nostalgia and anticipation that comes before a Nintendo console release.
It took me three tries and one mod to disable the HUD before I got into Witcher 2, but I loved it once I did.
“It’s reminiscent of the last time he left fans and analysts.” Is there supposed to be another word in this sentence?
I sure expect that with multi-console play you should be able to use it in whichever mode you choose.
Were there equivalent parental controls on the Wii-U? I don’t have kids, so I’ve never bothered to look. The smartphone app control seems like a really nice addition if it’s new.
YES! My brother and I slowly accumulated a one gallon ice cream pail of them over the years. These things were so pointless but we loved them so much.
I wonder if it has to do with the screen twisting and shaking? I’ve only had one experience of motion sickness in my life, and it definitely wasn’t from a sidescroller.
I think he’s saying that’s how he kills time while she sleeps, so clearly he must use a headset to play. I pretty much do the same thing. My wife typically goes to bed much earlier than me so that’s my best uninterrupted play time.
I started with a similar mod for Witcher 2 and then realized I couldn’t go back. Worlds are so much more immersive when you’re actually navigating by sight. There’s so much to see and appreciate when you start trying to familiarize yourself with a world through landmarks rather than following a dot on a minimap. I use…
Midnight Special is on HBO Now.
No Country for Old Men did it perfectly. I didn’t realize until the credits that there hadn’t been any score for the whole film. Contrast that with The Perfect Storm, a film where the music wouldn’t shut up for one second. Dramatic coffee drinking, dramatic sitting, dramatic sleeping!
