There's a place for everything, it doesn't need to be one or the other. The water from the video looks great visually but wouldn't respond well to interaction. So they can use the large water body style for the majority of the environment and then use the small scale physics just near the shore or in puddles and small

Right on with the Rayman Origins console copy. I picked it up in an earlier sale, decided I loved it and then got a used copy for PS3 to play with my wife.

See what Arkstok said, you can already play with a controller on PC. In some ways that could be less confusing, I always lose track of my hand position with the key bindings the way they are.

This could suck if you have a glossy tv screen and always have the reflection on the screen. I guess that's what tape is for.

I want an archaeological exploration game played in the style of Mirror's Edge and either without enemies or only dealing with wildlife. The puzzles and traps can be enough of a challenge. I would have so much fun if it was a completely open environment where you can climb anywhere your character is capable.

It has nothing to do with company policy. From the article above, "new levels optimized for the system's Move controller". Xbox doesn't have motion controllers. The PS3 had a prior InMotion DLC add on for Move and this is expanding on that content.

I wonder whether the exaggeration was intentional. Sometimes what makes CG faces look fake is that they don't appear to be moving enough. Until they perfectly replicate the 40+ face muscles with all the skin deformation, our brains tell us that the face looks too stationary to be real. So perhaps they exaggerated

This process must have also taken way longer than going straight to digital. If the end result isn't different then why would the player care that it took more work? Little Big Planet had a great hand-crafted look without actually being made by hand.

Jason, apparently the "HUMOR" label and the obvious comedic nature of your writing wasn't clear enough for most people here. May have to start each post with a 30pt font in flashing letters saying "HUMOR ARTICLE, NOT SERIOUS".

The article is listed as HUMOR. The pink heading that is at the top lets you know this.

Pretty sure people need to read that the top word of this article tells you it's listed as humor.

Yeah, the formerly great 1up stopped being any good long ago. I finally deleted my account there a week ago. I guess I didn't really have to bother.

I am probably about half way through right now and I've really enjoyed it. Some of those puzzles took me a while to figure out. Very satisfying experience. I'm looking forward to seeing what else they can come up with.

Hey, that actually made sense. I hadn't thought about that position as actually being ideal from an ergonomic standpoint, but sacrificing that ideal for the right hand to make the buttons more accessible.

I still don't get the obsession with moving the left stick to the Xbox position. Our bodies are more or less symmetric, right? So why is a position that is fine with the right hand bad for the left? It would barely matter if it helped with fine movement. The only place that really matters is when aiming in an FPS and

That was the first thing I thought too. It's a very visibly more concave surface and I'm excited about it. That and the dead zone on the sticks were my biggest gripes with the Dualshock 3. Glad to hear they are aware of those problems and not afraid to admit they needed fixing.

This from the station that pushed the idea that Obama may try to become ruler for life after his term is up.

I've been thinking that for a couple weeks. I'd hate to be the presenter who gets booed because everyone is disappointed. It will greatly diminish the significance of what's being shown if it isn't the PS4.
