I have really enjoyed the 6-7 hours I've put in so far. I loved the first time I traveled to the city for the first time and realized that there were no loading screens. Sure, they filled it with the flying pegasus sequence, but it felt so much more seamless.
Cool, I missed the character creation by one day so I'll have to make mine tonight. I'm excited for getting back into an active MMO.
I will definitely be interested in GW2 when it releases. I just really wanted to get into a new MMO right now. I'm getting married in July and I will predictably have less free time after that.
It seems that there's almost no Kotaku talk about Tera. The final closed and first open beta days are upon us, yet I've heard not a peep from here recently.
I feel the same way! My interest gradually wanes until I hear about some cool mods I have to try. Then it's back in for around 10 hours or so. I have even played nearly the same total time as you. Are you me?
The one thing I still have a problem with is the mods that "fix" the gray, hazy world to make it more lush and green. I have no problem with people wanting their game to look different, but the original settings do a great job of capturing the feel of actual snowy mountain regions. I feel like none of the modders…
The only thing they need to add to actually make the Move handy for FPS is an analog stick that clips to the move. Imagine still having the accuracy of dual thumb sticks but then being able to aim WITHIN that window with the Move controller. It would be like turning your body with the sticks and then aiming your gun…
I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who heard that. I thought it was because I watched this while I was half asleep last night. I really want this game. I think it's one of the few that my fiance would actually enjoy watching me play.
Okay, that's pretty funny. Watching The Last Airbender was like getting teeth pulled, you would know.
Playing online last night in BF3 I was "The Rocket Whisperer." Two standard (not heat seeking) rockets, two shots, two helicopters down. An across-the-map tank destroyed. There is something incredibly satisfying about so perfectly timing a shot that you catch a helicopter as it passes over.
We won $3. That's 27.3 cents for each of us!
I have tried all those except the tablet one. Thanks for the reply! I'll try that one when I get home. I hope I can get this worked out soon. I was getting so upset after dealing with hours of failure that I had to quit for the sake of my sanity.
I really really want to play BioShock. Even more than that I want to play BioShock with SOUND! I picked up BioShock and BioShock 2 on a Steam sale a few weeks back. When I went to play BioShock for the first time there was no sound after the intro. Bummer.
I hope that works out for you. It can be really frustrating if you can't have fun because of a bad connection.
I've been paying for the ad free version just because I listen 40 hours a week at work. Hearing the same 3 ads every every hour of every day started to get on my nerves.
I know :(
Maybe there was a lot of traffic after the patch so the servers were slow. It also could have been your local connection that was slow.
I use that line far too often and no one ever recognizes it.
Yeah, what's up with that? I feel levels should be designed that there is no way to get 3 stars by using more than the minimum number of necessary birds. Great, now I have to find a way to purposely avoid killing the pigs just to destroy more rocks.
