That was my thought as well. I see the browser based menu as a beta-specific thing. It's still really irritating having to adjust all settings during play.

Only terrorists have cameras and wires. Grab him!
I just got mine 5 minutes ago, 8:30 am Mountain Time. I like how on their site they were all "Download it early so you'll be able to play the moment it goes live!" and in real life they're all "Pfft, we'll send you the code when we feel like it." I'll be able to download it at lunch or something, but that doesn't…
This has long been one of my favorite songs to get me pumped up. I thought the same thing the first time I heard that BF3 distortion.
I liked it fine until I saved the game in the only place that trapped you if you saved and quit from it. Thanks, game ending glitch.
You may have just shown me the next thing I will buy. I really like PC gaming but I've grown to love the precision of analog sticks for movement on consoles. The mouse is fantastic for aiming but I find WASD to be crap for making small or precise movements. Thanks for the info!
The FragFX comes with a hard backed cloth surface mouse pad that works great for reclined gaming. I've been using my PS3 version that way for years.
I've been using the FragFX on PS3 for a few years now and I've really liked it. To answer your question, yes, the turn speed is limited by the game. The FragFX can only allow you to turn as fast as the fastest allowed controller settings. What's nice it that you can max the sensitivity in the game and then adjust on…
Is it weird that the last thought I had while falling asleep last night was "What ever happened to Kevin Sorbo?"
Wow...The person playing was horrible. Also, apparently Sonic and Mario had a baby.
I've always hated the statement that video games are a waste of time. Of course they are, it's a hobby and every hobby is essentially a way to enjoy wasting time. Anything that is not life preserving work could be considered a waste of time.
I was just going to list a similar complaint. I want a number I can easily measure in my own living room and see if it's visually bigger or smaller than what I have. Often, by visual proportions, the screen at the theater is smaller than what I see at home on my own screen based on the distance I sit. If I'm strapping…
I drink your milkshake!
My most terror-filled game sessions were trying to play Silent Hill 3 in a single sitting without saving. The anxiety at towards the end was almost crippling. I was good enough at speed running it to finish in under 3 hours so it was only the length of a long movie. However, the unease and fear were so much more…
That seems to be a poor choice if so. I know I'm going to be significantly cutting down my LOTRO time when Skyrim comes out.
They do? Cool. I need to remember to periodically check up on my favorite bands to see who has new albums.
Crap! I made eye contact! Don't look away don't look away don't look away don't look away don't look away don't look away don't look away don't look away don't look away don't look away don't look away don't look away...
Ah, man. This comment made me laugh out loud at work. Thanks.
Yes Yes Yes! My heart skipped a beat when I read this! I'd been hoping for a Silent Hill 2 HD remake for years but had given up on it happening. Love the game and still play my PS2 copy but it's been feeling dated. I hope that they can keep the gritty static feeling of the original while still improving the resolution…
I came up with the idea for a collapsible clothes hanger in a design class 6 years ago. I was pleased until I saw that the idea was first patented something like 50 years ago. I dropped it in favor of something more original. That and the fact that it's tough to beat the price of a standard hangar for the incredibly…
