Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m seeing unlimited data plans with throttling. Not sure how “unlimited” is being used incorrectly if data speed is the actual thing people are pissed about?
And to be clear, these plans kinda suck regardless.

The toughest.
Why post this important follow up when you can just post an article ignoring this and get all the clicks and fear!
Curious how having control of someone’s camera = having control of their keyboard. This suggests they have “control” of your entire computer.
Or, just don’t click links you’re unsure of.
Hell I was alive back then and I don’t even remember it.
You can feel a 2.0 earthquake if you’re in the right location...
(someone who’s felt a few)
As someone who works on apps for a living I can guarantee this is utter horse shit.
Then why is Goodwood calling it an official record?
As a cyclist, this is a fucking bullshit, entitled take. This is also why we’re hated by drivers.
Because I’m head of design at a tech company in The Valley, that’s how I know. :)
Another option, take the bus and buy a ICE based car you only use for road trips.
If Cook did care about design and wanted to go a different direction with it he’d hire someone else to lead design who has a different vision. As is, we’ve seen Ive’s vision of design at Apple the last 20 years.
The article and discussions are about a single, extreme event. The original comment was about classifying the single event as a sign of climate change.
So...no more Braun Design imitations?
Look, the design direction was unique and shifted the entire discussion around the experience a user should have when purchasing and using a piece of technology (remember the packaging for the original iPod? Completely deserving of awards compared to everything else at the time).…
Because it’s a single event and you’d have to define it as “weather change”. Climate change is when averages change which takes a larger data set than one event to determine.
Hail and snow are completely dissimilar. And as always, a single weather incident does not equal climate.
From the photos and videos it looks like there was flooding with possibly a foot of hail on top of it which ended up depositing the hail into areas that were multiple feet deep (that would also explain the upended cars since hail alone wouldn’t do that). The last video posted shows multiple feet of hail inside a…
Depends what your goals are but usually yes. Just like the saying says, it’s all about who you know. (I’m saying this as an introvert who had to learn how to network and play the social cards to get ahead in my career cause I went to a small school nobody has ever heard of.)
USC is a school with a number of we’ll known programs but most people want to go there, or want their children to go there, for the networking. It’s an expensive private school full of people from rich families so getting into those networks pays off later.
