Glad you were able to get your fur babies out. My parents were visiting me in SF when it happened and my dad is still trying to find his cats.
I’m in the market for one of these, and the link leads to the correct page on Amazon, but Amazon isn’t actually selling any and the lowest price available is $72.
However this link seems to work at the price you’ve posted but it doesn’t seem to be on sale. Much confused.

Honestly, that was my thought while watching the film; the reason the hammer shifted when he first tried to pick it up was because he could, he just chose not to because he’s that much of a good guy. Seems obvious.
When I was a kid I would beg my dad to take me on his annual fishing trip. When he finally gave in we drove up 395 along the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada range past volcano craters, massive signs advertising beef jerky, small dirt roads that lead up to what looked like enchanted canyons, an Ancient Bristlecone…
So are you suggesting all the technology they’re developing isn’t worth $19 billion? Or is it just that any company not making a profit shouldn’t be valued that high?
A billion dollars isn’t taken, it’s given.
It’s given mainly by the people who agree to work for all these companies for inadequate compensation. Yes there’s a shit ton of complexity behind that statement and a million ways to disagree with it but in the end a CEO’s goal is to maximize profit and one of the easiest…
This. There’s literally no difference between killing a horse, dog, or cat for food and killing a pig or cow for food.
As soon as someone states they’re looking for ways to “not be basic” it’s guaranteed they already are and all following solutions will continue their basicness by default.
No duck
Was able to try an Impossible Burger near my house last year and after my first bite all I could think was:
“In the near future the only reason to eat meat will be because you want to eat an animal, not for the taste.”
This market is going to advance incredibly fast now that there’s big players on board. Can’t wait till…
I’m most confused by leaving it on the street to “see what would happen.” What the hell was the expectation or goal here? Wouldn’t you want to be near it instead of watching from upstairs? That shit doesn’t add up.
When I say “most residents will fight you to the death” I mean they love the idea of expanding public transportation but even if public transportation met their needs, they still wouldn’t want to give up their vehicle. It’s more from a cultural standpoint than a practical standpoint. I fully understand the…
This is great supporting evidence for what I posted.
This is the attitude most Angelenos have.
“I’m fine with building more public transportation, let’s reduce carbon emissions! BUT...only as long as I get to keep my gas powered vehicle and drive it when I ‘need’/want to.”
As an ex-Angeleno this sounds amazing! I would still say the biggest issue is the majority of Angelenos not wanting to get rid of their cars though. Yeah there’s small pockets like Downtown, Silver Lake, etc. where being carless is convenient, but on the whole most residents will fight you to the death for their right…
The volume was low. As soon as the episode ended and I went to watch something else my speakers blew my windows out.
Unfortunately this is an argument that won’t go anywhere. Some people believe the amount of money they have directly correlates with happiness. I have a few friends like this, miserable but doing all the right things to make sure their financial worth is as high as possible.
Yes this was mentioned in the article but the article assumed humans could somehow plan for this. Which I’m sure would just work out fantastic.
But unlike this pointless comment, his act will bring him, and those who followed the cat’s life, some form of closure, peace, or happiness.
