@SAThorn: Yup. I almost didn't buy the phone because of the Foxconn scandal. Then I realized pretty much ALL phones are built under those conditions, or it's next to impossible to figure out which ones are vs. which ones aren't. People need to spend more time putting their money behind their beliefs.

@SAThorn: Unfortunately I'm one of the iPhone owners who is pissed but hasn't returned their phone. I'm glad they've put an extension on returning it cause I'm seriously considering it. I wanted to wait and see what Apple's response was and now that I've seen it, color me unimpressed. They're "fixing" the problem…

@frigg: I'd finished some biking this evening and made a call. All of a sudden I couldn't really here the person on the other end and that's when I realized I'd accidentally let my phone slide down to that spot on the phone. I removed it and waa-laa, back to normal.

@frigg: I've got one and it will literally cut out if my finger touches the "magic spot". The reception is better...unless it cuts out.

I started using Chrome a month or two ago and it seems to be WAY faster and more stable than Safari. Pretty happy with it.

Yeah, I realized I was wrong in my comment and changed it.

It might be time to return my phone.
