I take the position of “stay out of it unless there is a safety concern.” It’s actually a giant pet-peeve of mine when parents at a gathering leave their kids in a room with other adults without saying anything and just assume they become a defacto babysitter. I’ve commented on this site in the past about it saying Read more

I’m looking forward to it. Just wish the whole franchise was playable on PC. I have a PS4 but my PC is better powered.

FYI, Ring has shady government deals over which they have full control over what’s said about them publicly. They also instruct them how to obtain footage from your cameras without a warrant if you don’t hand it over willingly. I’m far from the aluminum hat type but believe people deserve to know prior to purchase Read more

For me, it was Aquatic Ambiance from Donkey Kong Country (1994)

I fully understand dramatic/sensational editing to make the show more entertaining than what really happened (and at times probably subconsciously appreciate it more than I care to admit), but it’s gotten to the point where it comes across as incredibly belittling with how obvious of a butchering they think they can Read more

Notice how even in the simplest baking-type competition shows, the clock is always somewhere out of view of the typical camera shots? So many of those crunches are fabricated beyond belief and they don’t want a shot spoiled by the audience being able to tell there’s way more time left than they’re making it seem.

Glad to see a joking dig at the size. It was no holds barred against the original Xbox & controller and the Xbox One “VCR.” People should dig where they want, but dig evenly.

This is on my ever-growing list of reasons why I’m waiting ‘til the mid-generation release. They’ll iron out the problems, have redesigned/optimized systems, potentially an X/Pro type upgrade, games up to that point will be cheaper, and I have a big backlog to play through ‘til then.

Unfortunately the only ways to beat scalpers are 1) for the product to already cost at the limits of what people are willing to spend (ie. $600 for PS3, very few wanted to pay that let alone inflated scalper prices) or 2) people to avoid buying from them but there will always be people willing to spend more instead of Read more

Same. I’m at the point in life where gaming is more of a side hobby than a passion and my backlog is massive. I’d be surprised if I buy a game for more than $40 more than 1-3x a year from here on out.

Woot! It’ll be a while before I get a PS5 so definitely glad to see this.

I love all 3 games and am excited to have them on my Switch but from everything I’ve seen, it seems Nintendo largely phoned it in, because they could. This collection screams ‘business decision’ more than passion for the characters like most of their releases. The menu looks like it was the day-one placeholder until Read more

Definitely. I thought for a second they made an error and the headline was intended to say that’s how much it costs for everything for The Sims on Steam.
