Japan is overwhelmingly of Japanese ethnicity, that much is true. However, that does not mean there isn't diversity here … it is just different. Any town with a substantial industrial presence is going to have a small to moderate Brazilian, Philippine, and Chinese population, working in various industrial or support

I suppose they may be waiting until they finally give up on the Vita.

I worked 12 days in a row, so my gaming has been somewhat limited. I am still fighting through Hollow Knight. I think, finally, I have revealed all of the areas … but I am not totally sure. I have a few boss fights on tap, a bit of exploring, and a few nasty platform sections for optional goodies waiting still, plus

Any news of a P3PSP or P4 Golden port to the PS4?

No, the proper solution here is to give/sell them all. I have lived my whole life as a transient international type, and having nohing is the way to really embrace the emptiness of life.

"the NPCs are talking about how the Divine Beast is making it rain."

I am still playing Hollow Knight and it keeps proving to be bigger than I had first thought. I had thought I was spiraling towards the endgame, and yet after unlocking a couple of new traversal methods I realize that I have, maybe, half the map left to go.

I say it to everyone, so I apologize if you've heard it before … but play XCOM2 on easy mode your first time through. There is still plenty of challenge, but it is forgiving enough that you can learn the systems without losing horribly over and over. That is important, because a lot of the systems don't show up really

Yeah, Tim Hortons is okay for sandwiches and whatnot, but their doughnuts are not the strong point. Puffy filled donuts from one end of the counter to the other.

Hey, Tokyo hasn't been turned to glass for their crimes against Pizza, so …

Born Angeleno here, and it was true for me. I never had a bagel until I moved to MIchigan, and had an Einstein Brothers bagel. They were okay, I guess, but not a proper substitue for either a donut (for coffee time) or bread (for a sandwich).

Also, this happens to have released during one of the most incredibly slew of big-budget and mid-budget releases in memory … an average game feels a lot worse than it is when it's keeping you away from the really awesome game you'd rather be playing.

The obvious course of action for a hand-less hero is body-horrific transformation, like in Cubivore.

I am sad to report that the "guys are pervs and girls are prudes" banter also plagues a lot of real-life Japanese social situations involving young people.

I do think that this is the case. There was a pretty big dropoff in quality from the 80's, when it was a restaurant, into the 90's, when it became a delivery service. The pizza just wasn't the same.

I try to be flexible, and to use whatever the game was designed for. I tried Dragon Age Inquisition with the Mouse and Keyboard at first, and it was terrible — then I tried the controller, and discovered that the camera which I had been fighting was not an issue at all.

In the liturgical practice, more or less, but it also has an "official" theology that is fairly Calvinist and thus 100% NOT Catholic. But nobody really buys Calvinism any more, so it does seem like that part has fallen to the side, leaving it with little other than crypto-Catholicism. Well, except for those Episcopal

Yes, it's the sort of Christian tale that you have to be Christian to understand, because the nuts and bolts of the Christian tale make no sense when explained out of context to disinterested unbelievers.

Yeah, and it was awesome!

I still claim that Dragon Age Inquisition would have been better as a Visual Novel with strategy elements.
