It’s about the trade-off, eg. a controller that would only be broken out for multiplayer sessions wouldn’t need to weather as much wear and tear as the “main” one.

Man that was a solid fucking controller
Like literally you could beat somebody else to death with it
Can this guy just go away already? I mean no Disrespect. Literally.
The C40 was my favorite controller last gen and worth every penny. I hope Astro makes another chonker for the ps5
There aren’t *any* third party Dualsense controllers to my knowledge. (The closest thing is companies who buy and mod Dualsenses and then resell them.) Unsure if it’s because Sony hasn’t licensed out the appropriate technology yet, or because it’s just so expensive/complex to manufacture.
It’s very, very, very hard for me to imagine a Scuf product that is on the same level build-quality and materials-wise to the Elite 2. I’ve had exactly one scuf controller, and components were breaking a month and a half into the investment. Never again. Glad you like this one though.
Astro C40 for the PS4 was honestly…
This sounds like a driver/software issue with the original PS5 Wi-Fi module and poor reception issues combining to create the odd behavior. By my “guesstimation”, once the poor connectivity characteristics of the adapter cause it to disconnect, it seems to cause an unhandled error in the WiFi driver/OS system that…
If it’s really an IPV6 issue, I don’t understand how switching to Ethernet can solve it.
Templar’s Well, anyone?
Ammo scarcity really only adds to the game, in my opinion, when it has a survival style element to it.
Oh please, you’re just one of these weirdo Marxists who thinks giant unregulated corporations having underage children make content for them in the 21st century equivalent of sending them down the mines is “bad” or something...
truly some of the worst voice acting/writing i’ve heard in a while, i hope they don’t change it a bit
Fair enough. I agree that that is probably how they look at it, as warped a perspective as that may be. The “no money until we’re 100% paid back” isn’t all that unreasonable (although you often see even the notoriously greedy Kevin O’Leary offering people more favorable terms on Shark Tank) - the main thing that just…
From their perspective, they’re taking a risk by pumping money into development of this game, so they see it as fair that they should be able to cover their ass first and foremost
Speaking of lending: my friend sold his pre-liquidity equity equity in a company he worked for to a third party equity accumulation firm. The original terms of the contract looked very much like this. Not only was he on the hook for any delta between what they paid him up front and what the equity actually wound up…
There are thousands of people like him with even less scruples.
Yeah, the terms are brutal, but they’re not overtly malicious. The publisher is simply ensuring they get their $500,000 back, no matter what. They’re protecting themselves from the developer deciding they don’t like their job any more and not working on the game. The lack of a cap on liability for that condition is…
Theres that for sure. Theres also a lot of inauthentic concern trolls on kotaku now. Dont know if its just been a slow build up since a bunch of writers left or what, or just more motivated since the blizzard stuff came out. They think they can incite comment section destruction by acting acting like the only…
Wow people got real mad at you for admitting a status quo exists and participating in it. /s Shame on you for wanting to work. Its amazing how petty people can get when they think they have a face to put their anger to. You should just dismiss those folks, theyre not actually making an effort to understand they just…
