It is a very nice PS4 Pro Pro.

Yeah, my one regret is the PSVR on a not-PS4 Pro. Was waiting until they released PSVR2 (hoped on the PS4...) but it never came and glad I picked it up at the beginning of covid... But man, PS4 Pro seems like the upgrade to take at the moment.

While I’m glad I got (and have) a PS5, I generally agree with this. There’s nothing that is an absolute must have on the system yet, though as someone who never upgraded to a PS4 Pro, it’s been nice to have something that performs better.

And yet I wouldn’t be surprised if I buy it. Again. For the bazillionth time.

And yet I wouldn’t be surprised if they rerelease it on PS5/Series before we get a new TES game, regardless of the fact it is already playable via BC.

Oh, I suppose I’ll work on Dragon Quest 3 a little bit, as well as sneak in some Overwatch.

I did start playing Ori and the Blind Forest. I think I’m about half done. Maybe a little less. It’s very good. But I do forget to set checkpoints until I’m somewhere I can’t, and find myself restarting some parts over and over

Still playing Hollow Knight, game is just so damn good. I have finished that Steel Soul mode on first try (cause I played a lot on first original file, not by luck.) Now I am trying for all bindings for Pantheon of Hallownest, one or two at a time. I nearly completed the Health and Soul bindings, only to lose on

Looking forward to the Kotaku musings of Graythan Nason soon

Moving is stressful enough and now you have to leave the country and assume a new identity. Thoughts and Prayers.

You should watch it. It has great action sequences, awesome art direction, and even good acting (for a Star Wars movie). My problem is with the script, but I have to admit that a lot of people didn’t mind it, so maybe I’m just being pedantic.

Yakuza 0, especially because I’m so close to careening wildly like the Mad Dog of Shimano towards the finish line. Real Estate and Cabaret Club tasks are all mopped up, Kiryu is obscenely overpowered, all the minigames and pre-Amon substories are checked off, and I’m only a handful of chapters away from the end. Right

I finished Republic Commando! I finished Dragon Quest 2! I don’t know what to play next!

It will probably just end up being Dragon Quest 3 or something. I checked out Jedi Outcast for a bit and didn’t expect it to be an FPS? I assume maybe it turns third person later, or maybe only when you have a lightsaber? Either

I finally beat Hollow Knight for the first time last weekend and rather than trying to get anything other than the most basic ending, I immediately bought and started playing New Pokemon Snap. So I’ll probably play that.

Ended up picking up Resident Evil 8 last weekend, and I’m very much enjoying it. I’m heading to the mill now, and hopefully I can beat it this weekend. Also on schedule is a baby shower, and I hope to get some lumber. My friends neighbor is redoing some aspects of their house and has a bunch of oak available for

Well, when compared to Rise of Skywalker I guess you could say it is an OK movie. Enjoyable, even.

This is awesome, but I’m still angry at the Solo movie.

I love those triggers. They’re just so satisfying to press and I love all the ways they can be adjusted on the fly, like how RE8 uses them for low ammo and different pressures per gun. Just brilliant and fun, the sort of thing that you’d have thought Nintendo would’ve come up with first.

The Dualsense controller is honestly one of the reasons I’m wanting to play games on the PS5, in terms of some games that are multiplatform. I’d normally get most games on PC with the main exclusives on the console, but having the haptic feedback along with the adaptive triggers is very cool.

Pretty much. Every new key word brings a new wrinkle. I won’t go into detail, but “Empty” and “Fall” have been bugaboos.
