This progress is very atypical of me. I’m back to struggling again now.

Despite desperately trying to minimize the number of games I buy, I picked up a few Star Wars games from the Steam sale last weekend. They were only, lik,e 3.50 apiece. Come on! Finally wound down my weeklong The Sims Medieval kick Wednesday night. Racked up a bunch of achievements, filled out the list of ambitions, all platinum level, and pretty much beat the game completely into the ground. I rushed out last Friday to buy New Pokemon Snap on release day... and then played maybe an hour. Part of that is because the child wanted to “share,” and so after every level I’d have to hand over the controller so that she could try the first level again for the umpteenth time. I’m hoping to get some solo playtime…

In other news, Amazon’s Luna (especially combined with the Luna controller) has insanely good performance - I have literally zero perceptible input lag with that controller. The only thing it’s missing is a larger library, but there are already enough games on there I wanted to play that I won’t run out any time soon.

I’ve played about half of it so far and I think it’d be a good game to blast through over the weekend if you aren’t obsessively collecting everything like I am =P

I’ll be continuing my first play through of Control. This game is really interesting. I’m not sure if I’m completely hooked (about to start mission 7 I think?), but I do want to see the end of it. Not to mention, it is absolutely gorgeous on PS5!

I grabbed Total War: Rome Remastered on Thursday at 7 AM the hot second it went live for download, intending to play it all day.

Moved onto the next game in my backlog and playing Celeste. I find it to be a perfect balance of being hard but not being so hard it feels impossible. (B-sides and some strawberries are definitely kicking my ass though.)

Bonuses shouldn’t be tied to review scores; but “half (the bonus fund) going to employees and half going to the board” is pretty horrible.

Hope this opens a door for Remedy to make a Threshold Kids series 

I bought mine two weeks ago, on the second day it soft-bricked while I was downloading a game while in rest mode and a power surge happened. The only way to fix it was to do a Factory Reset. Haven’t used rest mode since.

I was about to ask the same thing.  I haven’t had any issues with my PS5 and sleep mode.
