Shoulda read further.

There was one in the Astral Plane with the television floating in the air askew. I loved how creepy they always were.

I think there was maybe one in the Foundation DLC, in an astral plane section, but that is far, far, far less than I wanted. Alan Wake? Yeah, yeah, sure, but gimme an entire Threshold Kids DLC!

Step into the FBC

Titanfall 2 is fantastic. I was a late comer to it, not picking it up until it was free on PSN to promote the launch of Apex, but everyone who said for years it had one of the best FPS campaigns ever were right. The first couple of levels felt routine if fun, but then once each new stage threw cool new curveballs at

Now playing

My freelance stuff is in high gear right now so I’m going to be a shameless self promoter for a sec. Here’s a video I did last week for the Tekken circuit I work for: one of the commentators had a “bounty” for someone at home to win a headset if a player in the tournament could do 7 hopkicks in a 2-games-out-of-3

Still gonna go through Trials of Mana for Switch. I apparently picked the hard route by accident, since I chose Riesz, Angela, and Kevin as my party, but I’m doing well enough so far.

Replaying Bloodborne for the first time and I’m maybe a third of the way done. Maybe half. I don’t know. But I’m having a blast.

Wrapped up Titanfall 2 last weekend. Its such a great game. I’m also sad to see the winter season leave Animal Crossing this week. Probably play some Carrion and Yakuza this weekend, with shopping for a new planer inbetween.

It’s difficult to get the balance right. If there are too many viable ways to play it can sometimes feel like it doesn’t matter what you do.

Biden promised $2,000 checks. Nobody’s gotten $2,000 checks. Seems like Luke understands this plenty well.

It was more shock that no one picked the powerhouse year of 2017 rather than how DARE they leave off the OBVIOUS BEST GAMING YEAR EVER AHHHH! :-)

Great games for sure. I’m not objecting to your specific answer, but rather the suggestion that there is only one good/right/worthwhile answer that must be present or everything else said is somehow “wrong.”

How did no one say 2017? Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, Hollow Knight, Cuphead, Horizon Zero Dawn, Resident Evil 7, Uncharted the Lost Legacy, Prey, Hellblade, Sonic Mania, Little Nightmares, The Evil Within 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.... I mean c’mon.

1988 was such a defining year for me as a child and a gamer. The main draw was Mega Man 2, my first entry into the franchise. Fighting bosses and taking their powers? Sign me right up.

I posted about Huniepop 2: Double Date earlier this week, so I won’t be regurgitating that completely. My shortened version is that the music and match 3 gameplay is awesome, but the scenario and characters isn’t. I don’t like how you are picking up several of the characters at their place of work, and I don’t like

This guy and his room looks like they cleaned up because his parents are coming for Spirit Week with Gramgram in tow.

I’d like to make a shooter about the final days of the Warsaw Uprising and how the rebels desperately fought against the regime in charge, but I don’t want to talk about Nazi genocide, Stalin’s convenient delay, or the Western Betrayal because that could turn off at least one player.

I don’t think I’ve ever gamed with any partners very much, so this hasn’t really come up.

The closest thing I do remember was competitive, not co-op. A year or two after high school, a few friends and my then-girlfriend were over and we were playing what must have been Tekken 4, based on the timeframe. We did the “you

There’s a lot of shit-talk about how Skyrim is super dumbed down. And I’m all for more systems and mechanics to do cool stuff. But yeah, it just felt more free. I liked that, at level 40 or whatever, if I wanted to, I could dump everything I had been doing (stealth/ranged, mostly) and just do a complete 180 with my
