I pretty much align with Zack on this: not opposed to tattoos, but can’t imagine ever settling on something I wouldn’t eventually get sick of or hate. Also, I just have a lot of moles, so finding a bit of clear skin to work with would be a challenge...
That’s probably a good call. I finished it on my Pro, but it definitely struggled to maintain 30fps on a regular basis and some textures would sometimes take a while to load.
Yeah, I have no idea how people figure out some of those challenges, but I have definitely looked up fewer in Hitman 3 than in past games. Not sure if I’m better at reading the cues and figuring stuff out myself or if they’re just signposted a bit better.
Still working on Hitman 3 and will probably finish the main story this weekend. I’ve been going slow doing nearly all of the challenges in each level before moving on and it’s been great. I’ll probably go back and do some of the escalations when I’m done.
As a lawyer who admittedly hasn’t done any IP law since that one course I took in second year of law school, if the allegations taken from the filing are true and can be proven, this is blatant infringement. There’s a lot of “the design is so generic” in the comments, which is largely irrelevant. It is unique enough…
Did GoldenEye have a train level or am I misremembering? I seem to recall that it was Very Good.
I think the only corporate buzzword he missed is “synergy” and I’m kinda disappointed, TBH.
I feel like this is inevitable, right? I mean, Nintendo has made it quite clear that they don’t intend to compete on raw console power, but in order to maintain the difference from original Switch to the XBOne/PS4 generation now that the new consoles are out, they’re going to have to release an upgraded Switch. If…
I did not give DS2 that much time. Got repeatedly ganked in one of the first areas by a group of enemies, realized my health was being reduced every time I died and quit. Maybe someday I’ll go back -- I hear the bosses are great and numerous -- but it won’t be soon...
Right, I forgot you can’t warp between bonfires yet at that point, so leaving to farm would be a huge pain. Might be worth it though.
The only real competition lemon bars face is nanaimo bars. They are definitely 1-2 on the bars podium, IMO, though I’m not 100% sure which I’d have on the top step. Tough call. I guess it would really depend on how you feel about chocolate for most people.
Hitman 3. I really love these games and I’ve been plugging away at this slowly. I’m only on about the third map, but I’ve done nearly all of the challenges for each level as I’ve progressed. If I finish it or decide I need to play something else, I have a Dark Souls 3 save that I should pick up again. Still quite…
I will eventually get around to Sekiro. I originally told myself I had to finish the Souls series (except for DS2 which did not click with me) to clear out some my backlog first, but then Demon’s Souls came along and I ended up playing through that 3-4 times, and now I’m stalled in the early part of DS3. Someday. I’m…
I remember that I didn’t have much trouble with those archers, but I’m pretty sure it’s because I used a super cheesy method that employed a few poison arrows and a lot of waiting...
Good on Sony for putting Control on here. I finished it on PS4 but I’ll be tempted to give it another shot on PS5 now, just to see how pretty it is on the new hardware.
I can’t say for sure, since I played all the DLC on my post-game save, but both DLCs take place in areas that are separate from the main campaign areas. So once you progress far enough through the campaign to access the DLC areas (they’re both accessed from areas that you unlock as you progress, IIRC), you should be…
That’s a great analogy. I feel similarly about this whole thing. And Eve Online...
Yeah, I definitely remember playing the few NES games we had to death. I got very good a Super Mario Bros. when it was literally the only game we had for a long time. Over time I managed to borrow games from friends or buy them used to round out my personal catalogue with what money I could scrape together from…
That’s hilarious, but also reminds me: my dad was a pilot and I’m 90% sure the only reason he bought us an Amiga 2000 was so he could play the flight simulator game that let you fly a fighter jet.
