A second feel-good story emerges... Wonderful.

I don’t know what a KFC Famous Bowl even is, but whatever you made sounds incredible. Chicken-skin bacon? Witchcraft!

RIP Dad. All I can say is the middle of a pandemic is not the time to beat yourself up. Find joy where you can, do your best, and know you’re not alone.

I’m actually dead serious and am in the same situation as you! There aren’t many games on my wishlist, but I’ll never remember to keep an eye on all of them...

Depending on how Microsoft’s exclusives pan out this generation (see: Elder Scrolls VI), this could be the first time I want/need something that can play them, and the PC-in-the-living-room option, though expensive, seems like it might be the best way to go. It just gives you so many options.

My attempt to tackle my backlog continues. I started playing Horizon Zero Dawn earlier this week, so I’ll probably keep plugging away at that. I played about 10 hours of it way back when it first came out and I’m not sure why I stopped. I remember really liking it and I’m enjoying it again now. Probably just got

Those early episodes are great. If you’re interested, Waypoint Radio did a series of podcasts as they watched the series when it first came to Netflix (a year ago? Two? What is time anymore?). I got a lot more out of the series by listening to their discussion as I went than I would’ve just watching by myself.

I hope you’re right and they do bring it back in some form eventually.

Correct. If there was a way to access it on the console, it was well hidden. My understanding is that they’re killing it entirely.

I cannot fathom why they would get rid of the wishlist. Do they not realize that I’m incapable of remembering all 7 of the games that I’m waiting to go on sale?

Yeah, the process of making a character and going through tutorial sections is especially annoying when you’ve already done it a million times. And for Skyrim in particular, there are some early quests I like to just push through to get fus-roh-dah, which takes several hours.

I took inspiration from your recent Skyrim posts on here and started up a new game after finishing Outer Wilds on the weekend. We had a long weekend and my GF was working the whole time, so after taking Saturday morning to get all my mods sorted, I managed to put a fairly large amount of time into it over the three

It’s gotta be western RPGs for me, just based on the fact that I haven’t really played many (any?) JRPGs. I think I played the original Dragon Quest (was it Dragon Warrior here?) on the NES when it was released (I’m old) and then Fire Emblem: Three Houses more recently (is that even considered a JRPG?) and those were

Brace yourself. Dulcet does not begin to describe his tones.

The pictured options for black folks’ hair are both Very Good, even (especially?) the dreads, which usually look terrible in video games. As a curly-haired white man, the hair-option problem is not quite as bad, but I can still definitely relate. It’s hard to do well, so in the past devs often just wouldn’t do it (and

I’m eager to see how it all comes together. Peeling the wool back on the nature/cause of the time loop was cool. I feel like I managed to get pretty far on my own, but I am notoriously impatient and definitely looked up a few things in the more recent hours. I regret nothing.

I think I’ll be wrapping up The Outer Wilds tonight or tomorrow. It seems like I must be getting close to the end, as the only planets I haven’t been to yet are Dark Bramble and the Quantum Moon.

I can only imagine your relief. Glad to hear it! Hope she is feeling better soon.

I have a white PS4 so  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Perfect for the office!
