But can it run my favorite Koei classic: Bandit Kings of Ancient China? It kinda looks like it might...

That’s funny, because I installed a bunch of PS4 games recently with the same idea. But as much as I love RPGs, I sometimes find the opening hours when all of the systems are being introduced can be overwhelming (which usually leads to me completely ignoring one or two things until way too late in the game), so

I’ve been getting the urge to play Skyrim lately too. It’s my comfort food game. But this backlog isn’t getting any smaller.

Cheap housing is not a thing in Vancouver. If I stay here (and I have no intention of leaving - there’s nowhere else I want to live) I’ll probably never own a detached home. Hell, I’ll be lucky to be able to afford a townhouse. And I’d rather rent than spend a half million dollars on a little shoebox that requires me

When I started drinking coffee in high school, it was with lots of cream & sugar. The sugar was first to go, and then I gradually reduced the amount of cream, then switched to milk and then just started drinking it black by my first year of university (living on my own and being cheap might have been a factor). Now

I am sad to hear that. I love poke. I spent 10 days in Maui a couple years ago and there was a poke place right near where we stayed. I ate lunch there every single day except one. It ruled.

I was reminded today while helping some friends move that we still haven’t hung a single picture on the wall since we moved into our place last fall. Really gotta get on that one of these days...

I had a good run of finishing up some games that I’d left dangling (RDR2, The Witcher 3 and a couple others) at the beginning of “lockdown” (we didn’t have a real lockdown here, but we still don’t go out much), but then the weather got nice and my gaming time evaporated. Not the worst problem! Although it’s been over

Does the Control DLC have a release date? I would very much like more of that game...

Still TLOU2, unfortunately. Does this game ever end? I’ve really had very little time to play the past couple of weeks, so it’s been incredibly slow going. And it’s been said many times, but I really think the length works against it. The story beats are often so far apart that they don’t carry the weight they’re

Ah yes, FIFA 20, that plucky upstart that burst onto the video game sports scene this year. Nobody saw it coming.

I think my focus at work has improved over the past month. There was a pretty bad dip there for a while, but I’ve managed to dig myself out of it for the most part. A big part of that is things being more clearly defined instead of having to constantly roll with the punches and adjust. Dates/timelines are more firm,

AC/DC’s version of Thunderstruck from their live album (release in maybe the late 90s?) deserves to be on this list. It’s crazy good.

If it makes you feel any better, as a person with literally hundreds of moles I see a dermatologist annually and almost always get one mole removed each year, and so far none of them have come back as problematic. Sketchy moles can be scary/disconcerting, but they are often quite benign. Anyway, hope all goes well!

Do you have a recommendation from the Jackbox series that stands out? We’re renting a house with two other couples for a few days over next weekend and I was thinking of picking up one of them to try out...

This is awesome to see/hear. It was really cool to see how many people were out last night.

We just had a significant spike of new reported cases (102 over the weekend) in BC. They’re mostly related to a single superspreader event during a Canada Day party in Kelowna and it’s mostly 20-30 year olds (all of which, if you know BC, should be absolutely no surprise). So it’s isolated and far away from me, but it

This is honestly one of the dumbest fucking things I’ve ever heard. Sorry you have to deal with this, but it seems like eventually your boss is going to have to realize that this just isn’t possible. Hope that is sooner, rather than later...

I usually always have a book on the go and read for a bit to unwind before bed most nights, but I haven’t been reading at all the past few months. There’s a brand new book on my bedside table, waiting for me. I’m going away for a week soon, so I’ll definitely start it then if I haven’t managed to to it sooner.

Anything to get her off my case about getting an actual cat...
