Remember, too, on that “health” part that conditions like pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, and high blood pressure *don’t necessarily kill* the mother, but could literally devastate her health, and leave her incapacitated for the rest of her life—i.e. cause a stroke, kidney failure, or leave her brain damaged…
