And Time purposely gets friends or colleagues to write these, so it would be more awkward if they came across as if they were total strangers.
Most of these just feel like the writer is explaining how they know the subject.

I may watch, too. As much as I hate the Kardashians, Bruce is actually the only voice of reason, and really the only one famous for something else. If he really is transitioning, I would want to watch in support of him.

I want there to be a viable Green Party candidate so badly. But I would also be terrified of that outcome, because it would only split the liberal vote.

When you guys get your hair cut, do you tip 20% for the cutter/stylist and then an additional $5 (or more) to the washer? Or do you include it all in the 20%?
