I gotta say I actually kind of like Selena's acting. It's why I can get behind that intro - it actually does work.

I'm admittedly a Beyonce conspiracy theorist* but I'm somewhat convinced it was leaked on purpose to drum up publicity for the Platinum Edition.

WHAT is that green bean casserole made of????? It's obviously not green beans.

This comment was so bizarrely said that it makes me think that the guy calling wanted to do it just for shock value. The way he said "the Republicans" in 3rd person but still threw in the n-word means either this guy is just THAT unaware, or he just wanted to make a scene for the sake of it. Kudos to the host for

So true. What I wouldn't give for it to come back.

That reminds me of a quote from Vicar of Dibley, which is very applicable here: "a joke is meant to be a play on words, or a witticism, or a comic juxtaposition of disparate ideas to provoke a spontaneous explosion of laughter. So what you told me can't have been a joke, because I didn't laugh."

"I also noticed she was black, so I made a connection to slavery as a JOKE" is basically what he's saying.

Through quite the brain gymnastics process, I read RDJ's baby's name as "avo roll" and now I want some sushi.

So confused by the IRS letters on the cross, given that this happened in Britain. Is there something that IRS stands for in Britain that I'm not thinking of?

Yeah, I am. When I signed up for a burner it allowed me to pick both a screen name and display name.

I also can't with these, like, clip-art pasted pictures in the text. It looks like every project I did in high school. Oh wait.

Your platform at 18 is far better than any platform I've seen recently.

I usually hate when adults belittle teenagers and say they don't know better and are too naive, but it's entirely true in this situation. I cannot imagine any 18-year-old having enough life experiences to hold office. I mean, honestly, hearing someone talking about job creation and the economy when they've spent

The article is a joke.

I met so many people this week who didn't realize there was an election yesterday and said things like "wait didn't we just vote for the president?" Midterms are every bit, if not more, important than presidential elections, and I really really really wish people understood that.

I think I'm going to have to see this. Looks too damn cute.

I really appreciate that Lena Dunham took this seriously and apologized. Wish she'd thought about her words before publishing, but as far as celebrity apologies go, it's not bad.

Hahaha I have no idea! My actual screen name is Emma plus some numbers, but I just picked this for my display name, because I lack all creativity when it comes to screen names, and it worked!

You make a good point.

This was the exact face I made while reading.
