Repost, sorry!
Agreed. That passage made me WAY more uncomfortable than the one about the pebbles.
Yep, exactly. I think she knew what she was doing, too. Her whole persona is based on her edginess. The fact that she is now in a "rage spiral" because of the accusations is laughable. She is intelligent and she is a writer, so she had to have known the effect those words would have.
Completely agreed. She could have even written about these exact acts and I think she would have avoided most of the uproar if she had chosen different words.
I think my biggest issue with this whole fiasco is not the acts Lena describes, but that she so cavalierly mentions that she did what a sexual predator would do (as I realize you discuss in this article). I realize that this is her brand of humor and maybe I just don't get her humor, but it is an out-of-touch,…
Right? Way to drop a bomb there, Grey's, only to follow it up with Charlie Brown.
I mean, that's great if that's your opinion, and you don't need to change your name. But she changed her name, so Clooney is her name now. Why would we not respect that?
Didn't Amal officially change her last name to Clooney? I am ALL for women keeping their last names, but when she made a point to change it, it seems a bit disrespectful not to honor that choice.
Yeeeaahhh that raised a few red flags for me to the point where I'm thinking it's just fiction.
Um, so, these are way worse than yesterday's. Not sleeping tonight.
Just a kind of nitpicking comment/question. I'm not up on my Canadian laws - is digital penetration not rape in Canada? Because in some states, any penetration is rape.
This is SUCH a fear of mine! There's a family of stray cats living in my parking lot and I am always terrified one will get in my engine and I won't realize it. I usually check under the car and in the wheel wells.
Very good point. I was sad to read this, too, especially with absolutely no disclaimers or warnings. I really expected more from Jezebel.
This SERIOUSLY needs to come out of the greys. I came here to comment and couldn't find the right words, so thank you for expressing exactly what I was feeling. This is an insanely triggering article for an unhealthy practice*.
I like how they say they were pursuing Carrie Underwood. That could mean pretty much anything. Like, they may have sent her team a few emails that went entirely ignored, but hey, they can say they tried.
Um yeah, that one got to me the worst because it was just real. There was nothing paranormal about it. Not okay.
I also can't even figure out why they picked Peter Pan. I mean, it's by no means a bad musical, but it's not THAT well known. Maybe they didn't want to ruin another classic?
No. Just no. Why. This is going to be terrible.
At least, if that's the case, the police may be able to get concrete evidence? That is, if the videos haven't been destroyed...
