Taking advantage of the ‘aggressive, needy young women’ that work for you and gaslighting your wife into thinking she’s crazy for suspecting you’re cheating because you’re just too feminist to do that are definitely inherently un-feminist acts, as well as being all kinds of horrible in other ways.

even more useless than I realized

I’ve always found Kinja ridiculously confusing. There’s a reason most sites use Disqus

It looks to me like zero comment threads have been ported over, although I know that was the goal... so hopefully they’ll reappear?! (I’m just a freelancer, so I don’t know much about the technical stuff here.) So much contentious arguing about Star Wars prequels on previous threads I participated in will be lost!!

>Chronology is overrated as the focus is on discussion not newest, oldest.

Do you or somebody you know personally work for the media group responsible for Kinja? You sound like a PR bot.

Well, nobody is ever going to see this because it’s a new comment so it’s going to become buried under 500 “Load more comments” clicks since Kinja is the worst commenting system on the Internet, but RIP The AV Club.

Ok next question—with the new site layout, what’s the best way to find old TV club reviews? I’m often (ok always) way behind on most shows, but I like reading the AV Club reviews anyway, even if I’m too late to join in the discussion. The old site had that handy “Find shows” drop-down in the TV Club section on the

Better in what way? Lack of chronology? Having to make several clicks to read a discussion? Having to link your social media just to be able to log back in?

Hmm, the “show more replies in this thread” is a pain.

On the other hand...fuck Univision.

It’s a generalization, but most males who self-identify as “feminist,” like say, Devin Faraci, are secretly shitbags who do so because they think it gives them cover for being shitbags, and because they think it will get them laid. The sad thing is, they’re right. Like Arthur Chu, it does give them cover to be

The extension is not a cure-all for Kinja commenting’s failings.

Is there a plugin for preventing triple-posting ?

Load more comments. Load more comments. Load more comments. Load more comments. Boy, this is fucking fun, huh?

There’s only 88 posts at the time of posting this and two things pop out immediately

Oh, so the previous comments didn’t merge. Or maybe they’re in the process? I don’t know. This new site feels like a huge step backwards in order to achieve corporate synergy that only benefits the company and not the users.

First feedback on the home page:

Merging my Disqus and Kinja accounts doesn’t work. Also, the site is ugly and soulless, like Gawker. I’m pretty sad about this whole thing. :(
