The rest of the Impreza actually looked more Saablike than Subaru anyway. Only thing in any way bearable about the GM-Subaru-Saab mashup.

A lot more without EZ Pass.
Nope. Front door and slider (on the side that had one) had vertical versions of something that worked like the AMC handle, both at the normal door level. Not like an AMC turned vertical, but the same idea stretched vertically instead of horizontally. I think a lot of the hidden rear door handles are sort of like that…
Subarus are all flat boxer engines, not V6's.
Or a Forester?
Camshaft replacement at 54K? Did it yourself instead of paying a couple of thousand to have it done? I've never even heard of a car needing a camshaft replacement.
Not to mention the initial price.
Something like that parks on 25th Street in Manhattan. I don't know how. It is amazingly long. Like you could park a Fiat 500 on the hood and a Mini on the trunk long.
I think it was an option in the US even on the original olde style aluminum one. Wouldn't go too well with the current model.
The pre-remodeling one in the lower photo is the one. A few inches shorter and a few pounds lighter, but it's the cool one before the regression to flat glass. With the by far cooler dashboard. Anyway, 5000 lbs for a car the length of Crown Vic should qualify weightwise.
Well, when better cars are built....
About half of Craigslist rental listings where I live are fictitious bait and switch come ons or are for one room and listed as an apartment or have a fee to apply and are listed as no fee, or from a realtor and listed as private, etc. No amount of flagging ever makes any difference. Classified ads cost a lot, so that…
Shopping for a used Sienna, a vehicle with four clearly defined trim levels, I've noticed that the typical difference in price between levels doesn't depreciate that much. Two or three years old and there's still a big gap between prices. Lesson: if you are buying something like that new and intend to keep it only a…
Which of course is an Opel.
Not sure, but isn't a 500L on the same platform as a Panda?
The 500 is a lot taller than the Mini, with a softer ride.
In the US, the second generation Focus was the first generation in new clothes. Hard to see, but true. Compare the windshield and side window shapes - that's about the only exterior bits that are the same.
I don't think Mazdas are related to Fords any more, but many used to be.
I think it's no-fault, probably prone to fraud, maybe something about the courts and other laws, plus maybe theft. My insurance in Brooklyn is almost ten times higher than Colorado.
True, but if the final rating is per capita it is very skewed by many people around NYC not driving at all.
