Thanks. Got that now.

Apparently they did then, since Chrysler did the same thing.

You will notice that all the Comet filmstrips have only vague references to fuel economy. The Valiant one too. That's because our overreaching Socialist federal government controlling our lives hadn't started publishing fuel economy figures, what with no EPA (or pollution standards) in existence. Guess what, it's our

That guy posted other Comet vs. filmstrips on YouTube. Most can be played faster to make them less excruciating.

Some images you may be able to picture (with visual aids)

The Mini is also a lot minier and the 500 is minier than that.

I don't suppose they could just buy the Twingo platform? Otherwise the cost of developing a rear engine platform for a low production single model wouldn't make sense.

Don't own one, never been to Italy, but the 500 with its Vespa/original 500 (two Italians, same period) style of every square inch inside and out of the current 500, plus its maximum parkability, has a lot to like.

Didn't know that, but that was my suggestion for the Beetle. Use the next Polo platform. Think of some odd but actually useful features. Right now, although better than the original, the Beetle is just a Golf except not as good.

Had a two door subcompact once. Even without having to put child seats back there and rarely carrying back seat passengers, it was annoying to not have a door to easily stick groceries or some big box back there.

Needs full wheel covers.

Try one with the two speed automatic.....

You are lucky they didn't shit and pee and puke like my cat did. Had to stop after a few exits and clean up. Gave the cat a bath when we got there miles later.

So, that's why.....

The image of you doing the St Vitus dance by the Charger is pretty hilarious.

Bears know where the food is an what it's in. A friend of mine had his Toyota window frame bent outward several inches because a bear spotted a picnic chest on the floor in the back seat.

Happened to me too.

Some organization tested dog car harnesses and unfortunately none of the actually worked, although I suppose in a more minor crash they would be better than nothing.

It does help to have friends or relatives nearby to take over Fido when you go on a trip. Better for Fido also.
