Thanks for explaining that.
Thanks for explaining that.
I'm a longtime subscriber, but there certainly is a lot of competition from YouTube reviews these days. Automobile was conceived as an American version of CAR magazine from the UK. More opinion, much better magazine design, more interesting takes on things, much better writing. It featured a design analysis of some…
Well, the guys at CR don't like the Mirage, and don't like the BMW 7 series either.
Fords before ignition locks.
Once again, a Versa Note is near that price and way better in every possible way. Probably lower mpg.
I bought my 1990 Pontiac Trans Sport in 2001 with 60K miles and new brakes for well under $3K. An eleven year old minivan of any kind with 60K miles on it would cost way more now, even correcting for inflation. Can't explain it.
Apparently the Versa Note (as the hatch is known here) is better in just about every possible way, and about as cheap. And they are very nicely styled as well.
So much better with the extra acreage of chrome.
Just saw one today. Did they only come in yellow?
Longer version of same body with unfortunate flat windows. Hey, I once got 15 mpg driving carefully on the interstates (65) across....Murica. In a 62, which had the same 430 cubic inches but a two barrel carb for super economy(!). The 64 might have had a larger version of that engine, 464 cubic inches or something…
Yes, burbled. The OHV 6 at that time had almost as much horsepower (probably a bunch less torque?) but the V8 burble and feel and low end torque can't be beat, ever.
If I remember those could come with some kind of AWD, which this is probably one of.
But the new one has reportedly reduced the highway speed sound level from horrible to just loud.
Nice X-Ray view. Almost as good as those old German cross sections.
And it's a Mazda 3 deep down.
Great suggestions everyone. I don't know why, but this one came to mind. This model. These colors. Not as famous as the 1957 Chevy, which was really just a thorough facelift of a three year old car, based probably on an even older frame, but completely new everything. And that year was sort of the peak of the most…
But really super Texan American, not America American.
Pretty funny somehow, and pretty good driving. I woulda wrapped it around something at some point.
As seen on The 70's Show.
