Yeah, they do not look good. I considered an EQE briefly when I was replacing my Model 3, but the whole MB EV line leaves me cold. The front end is so smooshed that it ruins the lines of the entire car, which aren’t that great to begin with. I ended up going with an i5, which looks infinitely better.

Why? Because it’s a money laundering scheme. Just like high value art. BAT has been used for this for years, and has dragged the fair market value of cars up along with it all (along with profiting off of it).

In the hands of a good operator, those things (and really all heavy equipment) make that money back very quickly.  They’re losing money when they’re just sitting idle.

Dunno if there’s a YearOne equivalent for the 911, where you can get more or less everything but the VIN. That’s about the only reason I could think of for buying this thing.
