A thousand percent agreed. It is insane to me that our government has helped this man weasel his way into “too big to fail” status for several of his companies, but particularly SpaceX.

Call me crazy but you shouldn’t NEED to be able to trace specific security leaks back to Musk to take action. Regular communication with a hostile foreign power should be enough to forfeit government contracts.

The internet. Yeah, a lot people are starting to wonder if we wouldn’t have been better off without it.

HUGE reach to get this car related lol

A crook cosplays as a crook.

Here’s his mugshot:

I don’t condone this sort of vigilante justice, but I won’t condemn it either. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Electronics and software have been the boon and bane of a lot of industries.

This has been a relatively big problem on Toronto’s highways. It’s calmed in recent years as the number of dash cams rise, but they are still more frequent than you’d like.

Even in 1998 DOS and 5.25" floppy discs were out dated.

It just seems to me like, the police could end this quickly. When there is a crime (and we get grainy surveillance videos), the public is asked to identify a certain car or suspect. In this case, they not only have both (on non-grainy video to boot), but they have licence plate info as well. This could be shut down,

So this is what VW gets for giving Rivian $5 billion?

100% grade” is a 45 degree slope.

I think these are both compelling offerings, but I also think the real issue here is that they are still 3 years away from being on the market. For most buyers Scout might as well be a completely new and unknown brand.

They nailed it, and we’ll save some money as well, take that Elon and your Cybertruck.

Agreed. They nailed it. I no longer want a Rivian.

Except for phones and tablets, modern Apple does not have the engineering chops they possessed a couple decades ago. Their full sized computers are overbuilt masses of sheet metal, filled with pointless heat-trap baffles and parts that do nothing to justify their monster prices, and their laptops are rattly claptrap

With that said, man this IS a pretty car. It looks like Porsche built a Model 3 out of the McLaren parts bin.

I’m sure Ford’s shareholders would rather this dude not gush about the competition, but you know what? Good for him. He’s driving the other guys’ cars and giving them an honest appraisal. I hope this car delivers some lessons for can use on their own offerings.

What’s crazier is that Apple tried it and failed and left that market.
