I use quick connects for lightbars and other accessories usually, but I’ve spliced wires with solder so many times over…

To be fair, the satellite was probably impacted by a piece of debris from some other satellite, which was in turn impacted by some other piece of garbage left in orbit by some shit someone launched into space in the 80s
