I love Tom Hiddleston, but I don’t think he’s weird enough to be the Goblin King. Tilda would be absolutely perfect.
It’s basically ingestion vs. injection. Poison is the former (and includes toxins absorbed through the skin); venom is delivered with something pointy like teeth or fangs or a stinger.
With a lot of planning, he could have killed them with a bomb. With a knife and a lot of stealth, he probably could have. With a bat, he certainly would not have been able to kill two people and severely wound a third — bludgeoning takes too much time, he would have either been stopped or someone would have run away.

I realize I am an ignoramus, but what show is this?
mont saint michel?
You, sir or madam, are exactly right. And a genius.
The rainbow hills of the Danxia scenic area in China should be on this list for sure. Also Halong Bay, in Vietnam.
