“Can i write your movie? if you’re making one? I don’t ask for much. Just lemme write your movie. Please?”

That IS depressing.

(Wasn’t expecting a follow!)

Thanks, Chris! We have to stick together, you know.

Well, I haven’t tried Metroid yet, but I just did some mock-ups for Zelda... pretty simple fix. But the bigger sceen size probably means there should be some tweaks to the sprites, give it some more variety.

That first picture made me think of Kate Micucci, which would be an interesting energy to bring into this kind of project.

“I’m the hip-hop made and I’m gonna mop the floor with ya’s.”

What about Zelda or Metroid, where you get to the edge of the screen and the whole thing pan-and-scans over?

I read that there’s going to be a line of Atari comic books. Which sounds like the stupidest thing in the world on the surface, but if the comics drew inspiration from the cabinet art and so on, it could actually be pretty sweet.

That’s pretty cool. It feels like the original, but there’s more stuff in there, there’s visual upgrades (like the parallax)... it feels more accurate to the memory of the game than the actual game. I like that approach to remakes and remasterings.

They’re Benny Blue too!

I was starting to think to myself “okay, this looks pretty cool.” Then there was that slow-motion sequence of baby Bruce’s parents getting shot and it brought back Watchmen memories.

Huh. I got some old broken laptops I don’t know what’s on them... this sounds like a good solution to me.

Enough of your borax, poindexter... we need action!

So was that also Will Arnett, Elizabeth Banks, and Sir Ian voicing their characters? I mean, I can imagine Jim Meskimen voicing Gandalf, but the others sound like the actual actors.

I don’t think anyone here has a problem with that.

And Homer Simpson tagging along.

I love Black Saba, they were great, remember Crazy Train?

I was thinking that Henson should collaborate on a Godzilla type of movie. I watched that Gamera trilogy blu-ray (from the late 90s) and they were really inventive, but the suits just lacked personality. So have the Henson people do the creatures, the Toei guys do the miniatures and camera tricks, and you’d have

Cute video, but personally, I was so happy to see that the Dominar is alive and doing well.
