I, for one, will not mourn its passing.

This was a great read! I’ve always considered Trek to be the most socially progressive shows on TV, even when at times it was decidedly regressive, but it almost always had its heart in the right place. This piece does such a great job of showing us where it let women (both involved with the show and the audience) down

I mean...

Even the low income crowd is a hard sell. If you buy all 4 you are in cheap tablet territory (even just 2 if its Black Friday or Prime Day). And then you have thousands of free games.

You either own physical media or you rent a digital copy. Anything purchased digitally can be thought of as a very long rental that could end at any time. A very good example is anything purchased for the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo has decided you no longer are entitled to those purchases. You basically rented anything on

Avoid toxic fandom spaces that just bum me out.

On the opposite end of the spectrum is what I experienced at a Subway in Ohio once where there was one lady working, not the graveyard shift, but the lunch rush! Sorry, but here is where it actually makes sense. Kids change dramatically in a short period of time. You either have to film it all upfront (which they probably should have done given they made the decision to split the book in half) or risk the audience being pull out of the narrative by the beard stubble on a

Time to break out my dream cast again.

Remember the one shot All Hail The King, the core thrust of that was the REAL Mandarin was NONE too pleased about what people were doing in their name and was going to “address” the issue personally. He’s always been there but been a force that doesn’t like to waste time on trivial affairs. I’m just glad we’re going

Yes. And frankly I’m still not excited about it.

Clue for the clueless who attempt to use this as an opportunity to bash eBooks:

Oh I’m sure someone will figure out a way to make it work as a USB HIN keyboard within 48 hours of it being on sale.

I suspect one of the reasons why movies are longer is because ticket prices have gone through the roof. $10 per person doesn’t seem like a great value for an 82-minute flick (especially if you factor in concessions).
