I genuinely miss Livejournal-based fandom. Yeah, there was lots of crazy drama, but tumblr is shit for actually discussion. Tumblr’s great for gifs...and that’s about it.

There’s also a related thing (otakin?) where people believe (or claim to believe anyway) that they are incarnations of fictional characters. Often anime/video games characters like Sonic the Hedgehog, but I know there used to be some Harry Potters floating around as well.
